  1. Crack near handle, how to fix?

I would just use very thin CA glue to stabilize the crack. Also, if you rotate the crack to the BH side (crack on the same side of the index finger) it would help reduce the stress in that area.

Can you help me identify these woods? I have the approximate weights and some guesses but i'm not sure: 1. 0,653 g/cm3. It's more greyish than it seems by the photo. I think 1 and 2 are the same species, just different parts of the tree. 2. 0,563 g/cm3 3. 0,604 g/cm3. My first quess was...

  8. What's the cheapest euro-style tensor rubber?

You might want to try the Palio AK47 Blue. Not really that tensor feel but close enough.
  9. Handcrafted blades by MDP

MDP, did you manage to make a balsa blade, without carbon, in the Off-/Off range, that plays like an all wood?
  10. SDC Handmade Blades

Yes you are right, feedback is very important. But at the moment i'm looking to build blades for myself. When i find i can build what i imagine, then i can build blades to others. I'm not totally happy with this blade but actually a club mate wanted to buy it on the spot, i guess everyone has...
  11. SDC Handmade Blades

It's getting better. It takes patience to get the details right but it pays out in the end.
  12. SDC Handmade Blades

Had a chance to try the blade last night with two Bluefires. The results are positive but i have mixed feelings. After playing i would rate it a solid Off-. The blade is on the heavy side but feels balanced, the handle is comfortable but has room for improvement. The cons: Not suited for...
  13. SDC Handmade Blades

The core is 2mm, Kiri 1.2mm and top 0.6mm. Yeah, i had to use a thick medial to balance the core. I will play with the blade tonight and report tomorrow.
  14. SDC Handmade Blades

Thanks, i'm getting better. Bamboo is very heavy, i was lucky this one was a little lighter so i decided to make a core, but i think it will work better as a medial ply to enlarge the sweetspot.
  15. SDC Handmade Blades

    New blade. This one is: Mahogany / Kiri / Bamboo / Kiri / Mahogany - 5.6mm - 90g sealed. I'm expecting All+/Off-.
  16. Numerical Analysis of table tennis blades

That was made in excel but i'm using google sheets. Right now it's not ready to share but when it's completed i will share a link to google sheets with all the data. I will upload the image again with a larger font. Here's the table if you want to plot your own chart 5.6 50...
  17. Numerical Analysis of table tennis blades

Now in a more user friendly version. This is an example for a 5.6 mm blade. You input the weight without handles (about 20g), the frequency and see where it falls on the chart.
  18. Numerical Analysis of table tennis blades

You have to the table i have posted. For example, a blade with e=5.2mm, 60g and F=1300Hz would be off+. A blade with e=6.2mm, 60g and F=1300Hz would be All. Blade 1 would be very difficult to manufacture. It has a density of 0,5 g/cm3 and a stiffness of 7000 MPa, there's no way that could be...

Yes, they ship worldwide but you have to add the products to your cart to calculate the cost.

Thanks GinjaNinja, i saw that store but the shipping cost to Portugal would be 45£, that's very high! I got my Kiri from Spain, http://www.tormodel.com/index.php they list it as Paulownia. I got my order the next day and only 7€ for shipping. There is also a store in Aliexpress that sells in...
