The match between Haromoto and LYJ was really scary. If table tennis is headed that way, we might have to find a way to make the ball spinnier or increase the net height. Seriously. It was like every ball was getting wounded with interest and countered with venom. Even more Dragonball Super...

Those are my picks as well, though I have picked against Jang just about every time without any success and Zhu is clearly in form.

How many nepo-babies you know are former world u15 champions, Japanese national singles champions and now Champions event winners and top 10 world ranked players? You don't understand the lengths zeio will go to prosecute strongly held beliefs rven when all the evidence destroyed his argument...

Extremely impressive win by LYJ which sets him up as the favorite for the final. It seemed Harimoto had a serving strategy that contained LYJ but something flipped after that game 6 timeout and he found a serving strategy that also contained Harimoto. The sport is going to be interesting...

So why didn't everyone get injured as a result of the domestic trials? Harimoto? Togami? Shinozuka? Why just Uda?

I guess someone else can make sense of how that answers my question. It's pretty straightforward to me that she hasn't performed as well as her teammates, explanations do not affect the bottom line. Covid19 didn't affect her teammates either? If the damage from Covid19 affecting her momentum...

Any clue what he is using on backhand?

You have to watch Jim Butler commentate a Kanak match to understand. Look for a US Nationals or US Open match where Kanak is playing and Butler is commentating. At some point, Butler will go into a rant on how poor Kanak's serve is and how he needs to improve it.

I never thought Korbel was similar to the Powerwood. Doesn't mean your conclusion is wrong but just calling it as I see it. Powerwood is much thicker and stiffer and has a hollow handle. Also breaks far more easily at the neck.

The other part is that is sometimes not said out loud - whatever you think of his attitude, who is a bad player for losing to Truls Moregardh and Lin Yun Ju? So other players are better because they do it with a smile on their face? It's a turn off for sure, but again nothing to lose sleep...

Who knows the solution?? Maybe zeio is right and there is no solution. But is accepting there is no solution the way you build top talent in any country? Especially at the age of 18? By the way, LYJ beat Dima just as well. We might be giving too much credit to Sora's attitude and too little...

You mean the same mod that pointed out your reticence to discuss Sora's beating of your favorite Uda? No one has said that Sora doesn't have issues. You are the person who the mod gave an earful because you treat these issues in an 18 year old as something to write him off for, not as...

Yes but not in the same way or to the same degree. The Asians do it better than the Europeans and LYJ is notorious even amongst the Asians for high level deception, serve length and serve placement. Watch his match against Darko at the 2021 Olympics, it is pretty ugly to watch.

That was already guaranteed after Kuai Man beat Nagasaki if you really cared about that.

Coming soon... Butterfly LYJ Super ALC. Thanks, Chen for giving us good matches befoee LYJ made his opponents look like tourists....

He isn't making smart choices. People won't give you the ball to tee off on all the time.

Looks like Dima was playing well lol...

Its really funny that no one has explained to Fraser Riley yet how the selection for WTTC singles was done by Japan men for 2025.

What does Lin Yun Jun have on backhand lol?

I didn't wish Chen won quickly today... see our reward...
