  1. Two types of backhand flick

IT' actually a backhand stroke for shakehanders. Petrissa Solja is one player who does it fairly often and obviously.
  2. New Equipment Set Up

Evolution over Bluefire, but that's just me. Good luck with it and let us know how it shakes out.
  3. New Equipment Set Up

Yeah, but T80 is not T80FX... the people I have seen use T80FX have got me thinking really hard about it. That's how well they play with it. On the other hand, the guy(kid actually) with the best backhand in my club uses T80. So it could go either way. I am the wannabe using MX-S...
  4. Polish Open 2015

I heard Daylight Savings ends in Poland tomorrow so the matches start an hour earlier than you might think based on Today if you are in the US (our daylight savings ends next week).
  5. New Equipment Set Up

In general, when saying a rubber is slower or faster than another, it has to be clearer what one is saying. All people mean is that when you spin with T80FX vs. T05FX, T80FX has less arc, so it comes through the table faster. Also, the spin generated is a little lower for that reason. However...

  11. Polish Open 2015

During the preliims, I found Karlsson's margin of victory in his matches against good opposition very impressive but the Yan An match confirmed it.
  12. looking after the bat

People do this all the time. The differences in feel will be a result of the rubber and the glue job, not the blade. Not sure what club you play at but these are things most fairly experienced players are very familiar with.
  13. Serve

I think NOT using the fastest blade and rubber from Donic might help with learning this serve. But that's just me.

  15. Help make aerial a better player

Always be relaxed when practicing and playing - it makes your timing better and the timing makes up for what you think is the power you are getting from over-exertion. There is no need to get injured in this sport unless you refuse to listen to your body when it has pain from bad repetitive...

Big Dipper definitely has a glue layer for the tuning. Of course, that's insufficient for many...
  17. Top 10 annoying situations every table tennis player has encountered!

I like to hit with everyone in my club. But you have to be careful - it might not get you ready to play your best, and that is what you need when competing. Example: http://www.tabletenniscoaching.com/node/1276
