  2. First Custom bat advice needed.

I'm not a fan of hard contact woods for the outer ply of my blades but if you like walnut then go with it. Usually, my first recommendation to most people is to use something they have tried before, though they need to do it while knowing that slower is better than faster and wood is better...
  3. Women's World Cup 2015

Nah, Solja started playing better as well. There was a comment Fukuhara made that let me know that Solja is going to be in the top 10 very soon. Fukuhara said that there was too much spin on the ball and she was unable to control it.
  4. Share your Racket's Photo

Hmmm... a picture of my new weapons is probably overdue...
  5. Cheap Training Balls (Plastic)

They are training balls - they have issues - but for their price, they have quality - I have actually played matches with them by accident sometimes and not felt lost. They do crack like the real DFish/Kinson 3* balls and are not durable, but they are not worse than the 3* DFish or Kinson balls...
  6. First Custom bat advice needed.

In general, the harder you swing consistently, the harder the rubber you should use. Even beginners tend to swing fairly hard so it is relative. So I would say never go below medium on both sides and medium hard is preferable on the forehand. As you get better, if you improve your backhand...
  7. First Custom bat advice needed.

To be fair, I don't always use the same rubber on both sides - the hardest rubber I have used on both sides since breaking 1500 is Big Dipper 38 degrees - I have used Tenergy 05 on both sides but that is not special or unique per se in modern TT though I know many people who go softer. I...
  8. What do you think of this rubber?

IF you are a national team level player, it is a good rubber. If not, you are wasting your money - develop your skills.
  9. Donic Glues

I've done this a lot recently with my old and dead rubbers... I am sure it should work for any rubber though...
  10. Cheap Training Balls (Plastic)

Since my post seems to have been ignored, and it is quite possible I am the longest tenured plastic ball user here, let me try again.
  11. Donic Glues

I actually don't seal and have never sealed my blades. Maybe they come factory sealed or something. Maybe they are destined to go bad in two years. But I still love and live and die by Varioclean. I find it way, way, way less harsh than the stuff I see other people promoting like Free Chack...
  12. Donic Glues

I live, die and swear by Varioclean. And if you glue with thick layers, it is easier to remove. But I don't and don't care. I want my rubber to stick and restick easily. Varioclean does that for me.
  13. Women's World Cup 2015

I hope the ladies aren't offended by being referred to as "Men" above the list of participants...
  14. What oils can be used as boosters?

I actually don't but since you are just about the only person who misses the point of my original statement, I don't need to explain it. The explanation is not required for those who already get my point, but the words I used to express my point didn't change.
  15. How do fake blades perform?

I would rather buy a copy of a popular blade by another brand/manufacturer than a fake. The fake supports the practice of counterfeiting, which I despise. There are many good cheap blades - a blade is just a crafted piece of wood and in some cases, other materials.
  16. Help make aerial a better player

I agree. I was framing it more in the context of manosb's post. Nice high level players, if you are around them, might come over and diagnose you. Aerial doesn't play in that kind of place.
  17. Polish Open 2015

    Mizutani lost to Wong Chun-Ting.
  18. Help make aerial a better player

Many people need a lot of work. If you have coached people who didn't learn as children or worked on you game as an adult learner, you will appreciate that it is not easy to learn as an adult unless someone is teaching you and knows how to teach you. Aerial doesn't live around good players so...
  19. Cheap Training Balls (Plastic)

    Kinson 1-* ball from ttnpp.com. 75 for $25.
