  1. How often should a very attacking Japanese penhold player change their rubber

Depends on your rubber and how well you look after it too. We have a fast attacking jpen player at our club who uses T05, he changes once a year. Use protection sheets and you'll get more life out of most rubbers.
  2. What materials or compositions give the feeling of holding the ball?

Kiso Hinoki gives exactly that feeling that the bat is holding the ball for longer, quite a few blades use it.
  3. Best Inverted Defenders Rubber for Backspin?

Victas VS 401 works remarkably well for this, I'd suggest in 1.5mm. It's great for pushing and produces very high spin, but also attacks really well. The sponge is hard, but the topsheet is quite soft, making it feel a lot less hard. It's more expensive then the options above though, it's also...
  4. DOWNFALL OF TABLE TENNIS, WHILE PICKLEBALL IS GAINING POPULARITY STEADILY.

I get your point, but spin actually plays quite a role in hardbat, it just takes a lot more effort to generate significant spin.
  5. Impressive match vs. Pips

Very nice, thanks for posting! Yes it's certainly clear his opponents knows how to handle pips... he's got a very nice style actually.
  6. Large Hands And Flared Handles

Yes they have nice solid handles, I like them too, and they're not even longer than standard handles (100mm), but because the neck of the blade is a little narrow, you can put your hand further up the blade, making it seem longer.
  7. Large Hands And Flared Handles

I'm surprised there are not more options out there for larger handles. Virtually all handle pieces are 100mm long, why not make some blade with longer handles for people with bigger hand, like 110mm? The handle thickness can be increased with grip tape (although not everyone like this, I get...
  8. Joola dynaryz CMD

Impossible to say without knowing his level. Did he start as a complete beginner 3 months ago, or could be already play? If he's overshooting the table a lot, he probably need to work on spinning the ball more, which will help it land. A faster rubber may make this worse,
  9. DOWNFALL OF TABLE TENNIS, WHILE PICKLEBALL IS GAINING POPULARITY STEADILY.

Wow, jumping to conclusions a bit, aren't you? :ROFLMAO::eek:
  10. Badpington 😅🏸

Looks like a lot more fun than a regular warm up!
  11. Is butterfly overpriced

Yes, that is so true, although that's not unique to Butterfly equipment, it happens with other brands as well. New players often want 'the best' equipment, which they assume the equipment that professional use (i.e. often sponsored players), while of course 'the best' bat is the one that's most...
  12. Is butterfly overpriced

I completely agree, but you'd be amazed at how many people gladly pay the high prices of Butterfly if they're convinced it will win them just one extra point a game.... and the placebo effect will probably do that that!
  13. Is butterfly overpriced

That may also be because they're German (i.e. local) brands, so likely to be cheaper and more popular?
  14. Is butterfly overpriced

I've not heard this, how are they doing that?
  15. I touch the table

    ROFL!!!:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
  16. Is butterfly overpriced

You pay a premium for their whole range of products. For some of the their range it might be justified as it's very high quality and consistency, but for a lot of their low-end range it's no better than that of other brands. You're also paying for their R&D on equipment, and their huge number of...
  17. I touch the table

There's certainly a LOT of 'touching the table' in that video, both to wipe the hand and when they're getting in position. I think it's just a habit of some players, I've not really noticed an increase.
  18. V>15 Sticky: Finally !!

It's good to see them releasing these rubbers as I'm a big fan of Victas stuff, although since they're ESN rubbers I don't expect anything dramatically different from other ESN rubbers of the same generation.
  19. Black vs blue table color

I would prefer blue over black, but I'm sure I'd get used to either.
