  1. World's Fastest Table Tennis Serve - Asuka Sakai Still Got the Moves!

Anders used it in a real match, so he is a bit cooler lol
  2. Help with technique and match analysis

it is not banned in the rules officially... but you should do fun things anyways!
  3. World's Fastest Table Tennis Serve - Asuka Sakai Still Got the Moves!

Lol having a close to player cam makes this serve even more ridiculous. This is literally like receiving a powerloop right from the serve!
  4. Help with technique and match analysis

Yep i can play with my left hand with Cpen LP/SP decently. There was a period i played with both hands simultaneously which was also very fun, opponents were ultra confused because they had to face shots from LP, SP and double inverted. I even won with it against some decent players haha.
  5. I'm being bullied at my club.

Tbh this just typical in TT. I have encountered so many of them over the years. I believe other TT players have similar experiences. There is something unique about TT which attracts toxic personalities, which I did not find in other sports. And usually those are the players with illegal serves...
  6. Help with technique and match analysis

Great tomahawk serves! And the FH looks nice in general (although it is leaning towards hitting a bit too much, I think a heavier topspin contact would serve you better, but it is already decent!). But on the BH it seems that youre mostly just reaching out in front of you to play a counter or...
  7. National Games of China 2025, 11/9-21, Guangdong/Hong Kong/Macao

Maybe some of those technique peer review sessions he had with Fang Bo paid off handsomely! Those short pushes and BH loopkills he had were really incredible this time around.
  8. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Yeah i still use this concept as a fake opening loop against backspin balls that drift long (it doesn't quite work against sidetop serves) - it is quite effective to get people to block into the net especially if you can sell the followthrough better. In this clip, imagine if the guy closed the...
  9. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

This is side + backspin for sure because his bat angle is super open on the followthrough meaning he brushed the bottom half of the ball with force going right + upwards. Ma Lin and Chen Qi loved doing this vs this exact half long FH serve exiting the sides of the table. There is a sidetop...
  10. National Games of China 2025, 11/9-21, Guangdong/Hong Kong/Macao

Well, it did not look 50-50 at all even then. WCQ basically had to rely on illegal serves and other short game tricks to take a few measly wins against FZD. Now that serve is gone - FZD's advantage in the topspin rally is even more obvious in this match. Even in this match, WCQ actually got...
  11. I Challenged CHINA!

Funny that only a ex pro and 2 amateurs with pips beat Dan, pretty clear what works well!
  12. National Games of China 2025, 11/9-21, Guangdong/Hong Kong/Macao

Tbh FZD was just kinda fooling around in league(+randomness heavy 5 game matches), but here he is dead serious and motivated, and the results speak for itself.
  13. National Games of China 2025, 11/9-21, Guangdong/Hong Kong/Macao

No contest even in the final. FZD shows why he is a grand slam winner - the final boss
  14. National Games of China 2025, 11/9-21, Guangdong/Hong Kong/Macao

FZD is WCQ's kryptonite - he seldom lost to WCQ even before he took a break from WTT. WCQ's problem is that he relies way too much on serve/receive/3rd ball. But FZD can defend the 3rd ball due to his inhuman reflexes and then forcefully transition the play into a topspin rally where even now he...
  15. Pro LP/inverted penholder

Just saw this on my feed - this is almost exactly what I was talking about this LP/inverted Cpen amateur style being really strong, and this kid seems to have adopted it all at the pro level lol
  16. Can i make it better? (Forehand)

Dont worry about height in table tennis! In fact, not having to bend knees is a huge plus lol, i am sure there are many tall ppl in this forum who hate bending knees. This is Koki Niwa: You can check his form out, i think it is a pretty good reference. TT form can be very different depending...
  17. Can i make it better? (Forehand)

One thing that you might want to experiment with is where your right foot is pointing. Right now they are pointing mostly forward, so that limits your hip rotation magnitude - if they are pointing towards the right side (say 2 or 3 oclock) and then rotate them back, you get better hip rotation...
  18. Can i make it better? (Forehand)

You cant bend down too much because youre not tall enough yet. If you watch Koki Niwa he also doesnt bend down that much, but he is clearly a lot stronger and better coordinated. The problem now is that your coordination between the lower body and upper body is not really there yet. You must...
  19. Butterfly Zyre 03

Anyone tried Zyre03 on BH and on a Viscaria like blade? Im probably about to retire my trusty D05 and if this is an upgrade i would like to try it out lol
  20. WTT Champions Montpellier 2025, 10/28-11/2

Lol Sabine gets into the final! finally the pros will get a taste of what amateurs have to deal with all the time...
