  1. How often do pros change their equipment

The answer to this and similar questions is always "it depends", but I think your example gives a good average. Water based glue apparently slows down blades sooner than the old glue. The days of a pro player using one blade (and really only that one, not several models of the same) for the...
  2. Andro rasanter c series

Andy explained this nicely, but just to stay clear the term is Counterspin - using incoming spin to your advantage. Antispin is killing spin and a whole different concept and type of rubber ;)
  3. Andro rasanter c series

Apart from the comparison with Rakza, which I have never played, I could have written the same things about the two new rubbers as Andy. So I´ll spare you mine, read his. ;-)
  4. Andro rasanter c series

I agree with what Andy Smith said above, just barely tacky. You feel that it is different from an R48, but you couldn´t lift a ball with it. This is in my opinion sort of a breakthrough, to make the topsheet even more grippy than other high end rubbers and add to that the power of Energy Cell...
  5. Andro rasanter c series

A few impressions...With C48 andro takes Hybrid to the common people, it is easy to play for anyone used to medium+ hardness sponges and the Energy Cell sponge puts an end to "still feels very Chinese to me". In fact, on a certain blade it was hard to tell C48 from R48 when warming up, on an...
  6. tibhar speedy spin alternative

It´s still available. No "modern" rubber will produce a similar feeling, the classic rubbers just enjoy their life as trusted seniors, as they are (see also Mark V, Sriver, Coppa). If he played Speedy Spin speed-glued, that´s another story with many individual factors, and looking for an exact...
  7. Rasanter C Series

They will be ANDRO´s ESN-made "Hybrid" rubbers, following and quite possibly surpassing latest developments like Tibhar K3 or the DONIC stuff. Whether all this is grippy, tacky, sticky seems to be a fine-tuned discussion between different standpoints. ;)
  8. Rubber manufacturers

Then the NEXY Etika would also be manufactured there.
  9. Rasanter R45

I´ve not seen an official date yet but from what I have been told end of May should be a good guess.
  10. Rasanter R45

Wait for the andro ones ;) They have decided to release Rasanter C53 and C48, the latter should really be a fantastic alternative for "normal" players. As I see it, if I wanted to move on - or is that sideways? ;-) - from R48 to any available Hybrid I would have to go a few degrees harder. I...
  11. Nexy etika vs popular hybrids

Totally agree. Etika is not a hybrid rubber as in "China style topsheet meets Tensor/Spring/etc. sponge". For me it represents what was expected from Japanese rubbers. Enough speed, very good spin, not too bouncy, more STIGA Mantra than TIBHAR Evolution.
  12. Does anybody know this blade?

Sold. Thanks for taking a look.
  13. Does anybody know this blade?

For anyone who cares, this was a proposal by a blade factory, tested and nixed by Tibhar about 8 years ago. Obviously they weren´t looking for a surprisingly slow and controlled ZLC blade at the time, because that is what I found this blade to be testing it two days ago. I´ll leave it up to...
  14. Quadri Aruna and Bernie Szcocs

They developed the Force Pro further to make her signature blade. If that goes beyond changing the design (for the better) and the handle (looks smaller), who knows. Maybe adjustments... Watching the latest tournaments, the rubbers are pink on forehand and black on backhand, so forehand should...
  15. Does anybody know this blade?

No info from any source. Thread can be closed. Thanks for looking.
  16. Borussia Dusseldorf won the semifinal of the Champions League

They won the Champions League, becauses the two Russian semi-finalists are suspended.
  17. Does anybody know this blade?

Nobody? In which case I´d think I should be flooded with offers from collectors, but also no. ;) If it only was from Butterfly...
  18. Gewo Neoflexx eft 45 vs Xiom Vega Europe

GEWO: 45 degree sponge, reduced "speed glue effect", plays like a classic rubber like Coppa with just a little extra speed and ease of use added. Still a right bore to play. VEGA: 42,5 degree sponge, much more bouncy than GEWO, but also more lively in all aspects. If safety, and only safety...
  19. Joola Dynaryz ZGR review

Sure is. I offered it for half price plus shipping but still people thought that is too much. But I guess that is not only because of the specialness of the rubber, the second hand market has somewhat lost its charme entirely.
  20. Does anybody know this blade?

Somebody found this and asked me to sell it, but I´d like an assessment of its value and some info first, if possible. What I know is what´s printed on it, and that it is a prototype. But whether it ever got relased anywhere, under a different name, or never at all? Internet resources have not...
