  1. 729

No. Sorry. I haven't tried this one yet. I'm actually about to order a HK1997 and the Palio Hadou Biotech +40. Then we'll see. Have anyone else tried these? Well. I felt that the Presto 44deg is perhaps at the same speed as F3S 46deg. The F3S gives me a bit more control, and the Presto feels...
  2. Hurricane 3 NEO

Review by 'mocker88' on item 'Hurricane 3 NEO'

This (commercial version) is one of the best forehand rubbers for me. I'm playing strokes with full body movement, and brush looping a lot, aiming for turning most back spin balls with a powerful loop. Now I have tried a lot of forehand rubbers in various hardness degrees. But I tend to return to...
  3. 729

Hi. I've tried a couple of untacky 729 rubbers. Presto Spin 44 deg: Quite fast. Very nice looping rubber, but not very dangerous. Focus III Snipe 42, 44 & 46 deg: This one is really nice. I used the 42 & 44 for my backhand. Not so fast, but good control and sufficent spin. The 46 I tried on...
  4. Friendship Battle 2 rubber quality after 4 months

Water, sponge, ordinary plastic freezing bag to store it in. I have rubbers since 35 years now, and they are great with just water + sponge and plastic bag. Just remember to clean it during training/matches as well. I guess you save some money by using water and cleaning sponges, so you may buy...
  5. Sanwei Target Pro Blue

There are two different Yinhe Moon Pro. Hard and Medium. Perhaps even more types somewhere? :) I've tried them both. The Hard version comes domed out of the package, and feels like a faster Big Dipper with a little lower throw. The Medium version isn't domed. It feels like a totally different...
  6. Friendship Battle 2

Hi Kuba. Have you found them less durable than other Battle II or H3N? Mine lost the tack in the middle, where I hit a lot just after a couple of hours compared to toward the edges... :(
  7. Friendship Battle 2

I just opened a Battle II Pro Gold, 40 deg, and glued it to my Yinhe V-14 Pro. Now I haven't played a "real" game with it yet. But the feeling is really nice. Very tacky and the weight is nice. 63g uncut and 47g cut. It's 6g lighter on the blade than my B2Pro. The main difference for now is...
  8. Friendship Battle 2

I have used H3N H41 and B2 Pro H40 recently. A couple of years ago I used H3N H39 for a while. The B2 Pro is quite like the H3N, but the main difference is perhaps that H3N has a better catapult effect when looping and B2 Pro have a bit more control. If I had a day where my loops goes long from...
  9. choose one

    This one is great. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000035630238.html
  10. Friendship Battle 2

Hi. I have used the old Battle II and the Pro version. The old had good spin but not that much catapult. The Pro version feels like a bit more controlled version of H3N...
  11. Sanwei Target Pro Blue

I have only used the Sanwei Target National, with the blue sponge. But my copy wasn't much to hang in the christmas tree (as we say in Sweden). It's really tacky, the sponge is very hard, and there is no catapult like with H3N. H3N is much more worth it. Its more alive, and you get better speed...
  12. Looking for an OFF- blade

DHS Power G5X is a very nice ALC blade. Quite fast with very good feeling.
  13. rubbers suitable for a carbon off + and kevlar carbon off blade

If you play more Chinese style try harder versions of DHS Hurricane 3/2 NEO, 729 Battle II Prov/Gold. Yinhe Big Dipper 38-39deg and Yinhe Moon Pro Hard is a touch towards euro/jap feel from H3N. I have tried the Nittaku Sieger PK50. That's a quite hard sponge and softer, tacky top sheet. It...
  14. Tack of the rubber gone

I always use a spray bottle filled with water and a soft cleaning sponge. Don't soak the rubber, just a tiny spraying and clean it with the sponge. Of course moist will affect the rubber. I played in a tournament, where there were no good ventilation. In the morning everything was good, but the...
  15. TSP Super Ventus and Ventus Spin - Anyone played with it?

I used TSP Ventus Spin Max for backhand a short while. I liked the TSP Ventus Soft better. More dwell time, softer sponge. After this I have tried Andro Hexer series wich I think is better. Better spin and catapult.
  16. Me playing and loosing sindrome

Hi. Nice movies :) You have a pretty fast ALC blade, Xiom Vega X (BH) and 729 Battle II Gold (FH)? Or is the Battle on backhand? I would say that you need more control, especially on your backhand. A bit slower rubber with a bit thinner sponge perhaps? But most of all, practice, practice and...
  17. Yogi_bear this is a question for you

Hi. Some nice rubbers are Andro Hexer Grip SFX, Powergrip SFX, Grip and Powergrip. Similar spinny topsheet, but varies in sponge hardness. Available in 1.7, 1.9 and 2.1mm. Here's the best price I've found, in Sweden. https://wookiesports.se/bordtennis/gummin/backside/marke/andro/
  18. H3Neo or sanwei target national

Try Yinhe Apollo V. It's not the ususal Chinese rubber. Good speed and spin. Really good in flat hits as well and from a distance, and it's about 16-17$
  19. Same rubber in different blades

Go for a Andro Hexer Grip or Powergrip for your backhand. You may save 10$ or so.
  20. H3Neo or sanwei target national

I have tried the Sanwei Target National with the blue sponge. I'm very used to DHS H3 NEO, 729 Battle II Provincial, Yinhe Big Dipper etc. I found STN to be a huge disappointment, because it is really hard, but there is a lack of speed. There's a lot of tackiness but the damn rubber doesn't give...
