Topspin attack rubbers

hi all,
i am looking for a new rubber to to replace my T05fx purely because i don't want to spend £50 every time i need a new sheet. could you guts recommend some offensive rubbers which are suited to a topspin attack game?

Tibhar Evolution, 5Q/1Q (pros: awesome spin, cons: all are really heavy, especially harder sponged version)
Joola Rhyzm 425 (probably the closest to your T05fx)
Andro Hexer (Duro/HD) (don't choose Hexer+ it's like T64)

IMO all of them can spin better than T05fx at least.

Ok thanks everyone..the two rubbers that have been recommended to me the most are Andro Rasant and Joola Rhyzm...anyone got any experience with either of those??

I tried Rasant turbo and using Rhyzm 48 now. Rasant's pretty heavy while Rhyzm's way lighter. Rasant low throw and Rhyzm medium. I didn't recommend Rasant 'cuz as I've recently said few times here Rasant is very blade-dependent and probably only works best on soft blades(despite IMO it's still a better rubber in all ways than Rhyzm). Rhyzm on the other hand should easily work well on many blades and is a safer choice.

Both are the best rubbers I've ever tried even with Tibhar, Tenergies, Stiga and Xiom in mind. (Though I still haven't tried Sigma, Evolution and Calibra Tour

)

ok thanks a lot Cornerer so would rasant suit a TB ALC blade? or would Rhyzm be the better choice

Unfortunately I can't really tell. It seems like each ALC can differ from each other alot. Most say it's a bit harder than Viscaria(which is definitely soft) but the ALC I borrowed from my friend felt like it's made from metal lol.

Do trust your feelings for this 1. If u think ur ALC doesn't have great dwell time then just forget about Rasant ('cuz it won't able to utilize the awesome spin potential from topsheet which was also why most said Rasant wasn't spinny).

yehh valid point that one....what about Bluefire m1 to put on my FH do u know how that compares to rasant or rhyzm?

don't think i'm the right person to comment on BF in details ... I tried M2/3 and I absolutely hated them (i know u're using M2 but still ...

) and not only that my M3 topsheet only last for ~1month just like Desto F3 T_T

oh ok well everyone prefers different rubbers dont they....well a hard decision to make then....hopefully other 'experts' will share their experiences with the two rubbers

Be aware though Joola seems to have updated the Rhyzm series cuz' the others' experiences was nothing similar to mine, including the weight ... (the last 1 seems to be pretty heavy)
Let's be honest BF M2 should be pretty close to the normal T05 (especially the high throw). M1's certainly gonna be much heavier than any Tenergies though that's for sure('cuz M2 already is heavier).

yes all the BF are not the lightest of rubbers....but oh well i dont really mind that much...so are u saying the Rhyzm is quite heavy??

no only the old version. The new 1 is ~7g lighter (which is alot in table tennis' scale)

TTatford, My experience with Andro Rasant was mixed. On a BTY composite blade, it was nothing special. On my Galaxy 896 ALL+ blade, night and day difference. It was a total BEAST on the ALL+ looping blade.

I also got tired of paying too much for Tenergy, so I ended up settling on Aurus the last two years. Great control, spin and pace. Good balance and control.

Now since I have the Nexy Arirang as my main blade with Evolution FX-P... holp crap! Batamn! Spin! Control!, Feel, Sound! It's like a real juiced up slightly softer version of Aurus!

yes i have heard about Tibhar evolution and that it is VERY fast....soem people have told me it is quite similar to Joola Ryhzm. is that the case?
