@NDH so what's the final itinerary for friday to sunday ? i can only join on one day for a few hours and looking at the schedule known so far there should be an AM session on saturday where we meet, warm up in the hall, do challenges and matches against each other while there will be a tourney on sunday. Is that correct so far ?
When are we gonna start on saturday?

Hi all,

With lots of different messages from everyone, it’s hard to keep track of who is who (usernames, real names, mobile numbers etc!)

I just need to clarify one point.

If you have not paid (via the TTD link I sent out), you will not be able to play any of the sessions.

As you can appreciate, it‘s been an incredibly difficult event to organise, and we can’t have random players turning up on some sessions and not others etc.

The schedule has already been finalised based on the number of confirmed people (those who have paid).

If anyone who *hasn’t* paid, still wants to come, I need to know by Wednesday midday at the latest.

nobody is gonna check that tbh. that was just a governmant scam where they frightened everybody to wreck their old cars and buy new ones to help the car industriy. Nowadays nobody cares anymore.

Ok, i can only tell you that that green sticker that should have your license plate number on it is not readable anymore on my car and i was driving to and through düsseldorf for 5 years without any issue.

On another note i am still searching for a few low level players/attendees that would play a match on the friday open session against me (with me possibly recording it for my own purposes but willing to share the video). Remember i only touched table tennis first in 2022 and only started playing league matches in 2025.

No idea what level is low, but I'm fine with whatever during the open session

My level is being able to reliably loop backspin with the forehand, push, touch short, block regular spin. Footwork and shot selection being a major imrpovement opportunity (to phrase it positively).

There would be no point for me playing somebody who could "outplay" me with positioning because he already played for 30 years. I know a guy that only has 1300 TTR but since his technical level is good enough and he does not need to think about stroke selection, he will be easily seeng me move one inch to the left and decide in the last moment to play to the ball to the other side.

I am not looking for newbies, but it is pointless if a match consists of collecting the ball for 90% of the time.
Even against players weaker then me i would not exploit that, i.e. if i see the opponent is clearly weaker, i will resort to less spinny serves to at least get a ball back on my serve instead of winning free points where nobody really learns anything from.
I think there will be enough higher level players that are standing in queue to play against the TTD boys, so no point for me in wasting everybodys time , especially since we only got 2 hours

I would be happy to play. If ur willing to share the video, I would like to analyze my own game from video aswell, thats on my to-do list for some time anyway

Thank you @Tyce for participating in our doubles match with NextLevel and golden_sun. Unfortunately i fat fingered my camera and have switched off the recording when we started. =/ So nobody will witness the comeback that was thwarted by the end of the session.

Huh, maybe that is why the trajectory of the ball was so hard to track :/ IMHO you witnessed great power of @NextLevel not Zyre.
