What is the point of playing Hayata ? She is basically 2 free rubbers for team china. The same can be said about Ito.

Most likely SYS would be 3-0 against either Mima Ito or Miyu Nagasaki. Miyu hasn't won a game against SYS in their last 3 meetings. Last time she won 1 game was 2017. At a minimum, playing Hina will provide intel for the Olympics as Hina is most likely to make the team.

I know that he played in the recent star contender but if he just switched places with like xiang peng, how would it go? A great day for the Japanese men. I am annoyed though at the Olympic organizing committee for dropping men's and women's teams in favor of mixed teams. The Japanese men would have had a very good shot at winning gold if the men's teams event was continued at the LA2028 Olympics. In any case, the day belongs to the Japanese men's team.
