Joola ball is only good for a week. after that many of them will distort or become tilted in a waySo I'm in charge of our club in a city here in the midwest US... Part of this answer depends on your location and how quickly or regular access you have to X ball.
Let me tell you right now stay away from the Nittaku J-top ball. That thing is hot garbage and cracks under regular play all the time.
We play our tournaments with the Nittaku Preimum. It's a good ball. Too expensive IMO for what it is but it seems to be the standard people expect so it's fine.
J-top for club play would be a great alternative right? Nope. They break and cost more than our better alternative. We've since moved to the Joola 3 star ball (you can get like 120 of them for around 20 bucks) ballpark 16 cents per ball) and they've vastly better than the J-top ball. Straight up it's a better ball easliy.
Interesting.Joola ball is only good for a week. after that many of them will distort or become tilted in a way
J Top seems fragile yes (the orange breaks easier than white) but they remain roundness till the end
