Honestly, how can we know that all Stuor blades are not the same ? There are plenty of Limba/Ayous/Carbon/Ayous models. We can't tell the difference. How's this blade is different from Harimoto ZLC clone ?

I wondered the same. But I dont know.

Is Viscaria the same as TB alc?

I've only heard and read good things about XVT blades, even saw someone using it in a tournament.
Between the ZL 600 and the regular Long V, I'd choose the ZL 600.
Based on intuition and looks, tbh.

On the blade images it's clearly an inner blade, but it says "External" and is shown as Limba + Kevlar.



Comfortable arc, I'd say medium / medium-high.

Rebound speed is what you'd expect.
Slow when slow, fast and dangerous when fast.

Do you think the carbon layer on the XVT zl600 is too close to the surface?

viscaria and timo boll alc are different blades not only for the handleshape. i don’t know exactly but i heard that the gluing process is different to make the boll alc more elastic. but since the production differences are already broad inbetween one bladetype with weights varying between 78 and 95 gramm and different production years, i think nobody will notice that anyhow and will just get the one wich handle feels better

I'm thinking of getting the XVT ZL 600 for Singles Day. But I'm worried that the core is too thick and that it will be too stiff like the HL5X.

From the pictures, do you think the core is thicker than the W968 construction?

Here is the XVT Long 5. Is it just me or is the carbon closer to the core?

Pretty similar, MY Stuor Harimoto is a bit stiffer and snappier.

The Sanwei 75 inner has longer dwell time.

But my friend also has the Stuor Harimoto and it is flexier than the Sanwei 75 inner. So Stuor might have quite a bit more inconsistency between batches.

I think 75 inner is good choice for pretty much anybody.

A few comments:

I like Stuor over XVT. I only got one XVT blade that is ZLC clone. It played so weird that there is no point of me trying more XVT blades.

Stuor Long V clone was too slow for my taste. Stuor clones I like the most are Viscaria and ZJK clones. They are fast but not too fast.

I have a thing for carbon blades that are fast but not too fast and does NOT vibrate. I hate vibration in my hand.

I also love my set-up to be light. I want to be able to swing the paddles without tiring my arm too much.

I am also waiting for Hurricane 3 blue sponge provincial 39 degree and 40 degree to be on sales so I can grab them. Not really interested in any other rubbers available on Aliexpress.

Not interested in buying more blades either. I have tried a lot of blades and I have settled down. My favorite brand right now is and has been Gambler for the past 2 years. There are a couple Gambler models that are faster than the one I am using so when I get more consistency, I will upgrade within the Gambler brands. And for $40 per blade, it is the same price as Stuor or XVT.

I have a Fang bo first version carbon from TT11 that I bought in 2019? It is slow and let us say it does not have any rubber on it; it is just sitting there.

Everyone plays different. I really think people should take other people's opinions with a grain of salt.

I did have the impression that xvt is a little weird. But no blade can be that bad right.

TB ALCs generally run stiffer. But most players below a certain level probably can't perceive this difference.

i saw that stiga mantra rubbers are quite cheap on aliexpress. i will get the M version, because they are not beeing sold anymore in germany since some years and i remember them beeing a spinnier alternative to rozena and now even cheaper, really nice!

I got these additions to my list:

If I like the boosted J3 38 on BH until then, I'll order another one as backup.

I'd really like to get the Stuor LYJ blade - not to be my main blade but just for fun.

Maybe a good jumping rope for a couple bucks -
Although you can just jump without the rope, but then you'll look like a madman.
