Is it suitable for beginners?
or for intermediate and advanced players as well?
Both.
First, it wears its name proudly, because it really is very durable.
And then you might say it does everything, nothing particularly well, but then it also has no obvious weaknesses.
Not too bouncy, not too fast, but several steps ahead of classic rubbers like Sriver etc. - really an entry level tensor rubber before the term was even invented and everybody made one...

That said, beginners can grow with this rubber, starting with 1,7 on both sides. If their game develops to something active and aggressive, they will eventually change at some point. If the game becomes more of an allround game, Duro 2,1 will not be too thick and they can keep it for a long time.

It's suitable for beginner and intermediate players but advanced players will find more performance/spin in more recent rubbers.
