Tried this on Friday - in a huge rush sadly - and couldn't get the "object" ball to sit on the corner of the table without rolling away. More work required !

Hahaha I had this same problem! It's harder to do that than serve and hit the dam thing

Lol Tinykin !! If I did that at my club I just know I'd be looking for a new club pdq ! I've only been going there for three years so I'm still an outsider, and outsiders are expected to behave themselves and not make waves

If your club is anything like mine, there will be balls (not) rolling around with dents in them where careless children have trodden. Ideal use for them.

And talking of children... On Tuesday nights I help out with a motley crew of juniors, from ages about 6 to 14, of various abilities in table tennis, but none yet ready for even the lowest division of the league. So after the coaching session tonight, I suggested the around the bottle challenge to the coach, who shall remain nameless --- he tried a few times and missed. One of the youngsters was watching, about middle of the group in skill, but he wanted a try. He did it on his 4th try. And then again on about the 8th. Coach was a bit miffed and spent quite a bit more time, even after the youngster's mum had taken him away, until he had managed to do it three times.

So my challenge started just when I was at the place playing.. and I found a bottle there.. so I decided to give it a try.
When my darling saw what I was trying, she took out camera.. Too bad my first hit was before she started recording..
The second hit was my sons head in front of it..
So I had to hit it 3 times..
with like 150 tryes to do 3 hits, lol
