Aruna has had an extraordinary month reaching the last 8 in the recent Rio Olympics losing to the eventual winner Ma Long. On route to the final Aruna eliminated Chuang Chih Yuan and Timo Boll! Aruna became very popular among fans around the globe after an exhilarating match against London 2012 Olympic Champion Zhang Jike in the 2014 World Cup. Nigerian born, the 28 year old emerged as the ITTF star player of the year in 2014.

Quadri Aruna has a unique style of play with a ferocious forehand topspin attack. We are looking forward to having him on the show.

If a young kid from Africa would like to follow your footstep and break your record. What kind of advice can you give, considering the lack of table tennis training available in Africa, lack of funding, lack of support, lack of a lot of things.

I think there are three Nigerian candidates for the greatest player in Nigerian history. How would you rank yourself, Atanda Musa and Segun Toriola? And please don't be too modest.

Your backhand had improved a lot recently. How did this come about and what kind of work have you done with it?

I heard your rubbers are Rhyzm P with a custom sponge not available on the market. What do you think about the fact that pros can use equipment that club players cannot access, since I cannot get Rhyzm P with your custom sponge?

You lost very badly to Chuang Chih-Yuan earlier this year but we're able to turn it around for a 4-0 victory. In fact, you beat two players you have never beaten before at the Olympics and then beat another that most people gave you no chance against (Timo Boll). What would you attribute your improved results to?
