I know someone who played till the end, injury wasn't as severe as Karlsson though.
But when you start bleeding (even if it is just a minor wound) and trying to hold the bat tight, it is just impossible.
Of all injuries to go out,,, this is indeed one of the toughest to overcome the pain.
