Blade and Rubber recommendations for Intermediate Offensive player?

I usually tend to keep same rubbers on both sides, unless I am using a chinese tacky rubber for FH

This keeps the blade weight balanced and also helps me to not focus more on twiddling my racket angle whilst close table offensive strokes

By the way, what do you think about ST vs FL handle?

I play with ST now but whenever I pick up a flare blade it feels SO comfortable on forehand.

I like FL handle of Korbel, its comfortable over YSE and I love the FL handle of Virtuoso, its smoother and gives a better feeling.

I agree with Der echte, people who use Pimples or Anti-spin rubbers, go with ST handle to switch FH and BH sides.

So Rakza 7 counts as slow enough?

I found it a great rubber for some of the game, but too lively for me to stay in control. I had trouble in serve receive and keeping the short game short.

If I were you I wouldnt blade the difficulty of producing good flicks on the weight as normally it's down the the comfort of the handle, however only you know what it is as you are the one using it. I find that flicking is easier with a straight handle as you get more movement however when playing away from the net I find that flared handles are more stable.
As for the the rubbers, joola energy extra is a nice rubber and is decent for developing techniques but it is also able to stick with you as you progress to a high level, however I was not a fan when using it on stiga infinity vps. I used it on the tsp balsa 6.5 and it played brilliant.
Go for a 5 ply all wood blade so that that it's not to fast and is very controlled. I would probably recommend limba-limba- ayous-limba-limba. I'm pretty sure one of the waldner series has a blade with this composition. Above all, try loads before you buy one and make sure that it fits your game rather than someone telling it's good because it works for them.

What is holding me back from the Korbel blade is how so many reviews criticize the small handle size. Or should I not worry and just get handle tape?

Still leaning towards out-of-the-box comfort of Virtuoso.
Maybe I should look at the OSP Virtuoso normal, not the plus?

The Primorac sounds good too. Maybe good enough for my needs if pair with Vega Pro?

yes, easier to play from Backhand side to your opponent forhand side (right hand vs right hand)

I think, 5 ply all+/off- blades are good because give you space and create higher throw but speed is easier to handle...off carbon blades gives you less time because you play faster so if balls comes to your side you won't have time to change position...and trajectory will be on lower side so will be hard to put balls on the table.
I like characteristic of carbon OFF blade (stiffness,fast rebound) but I like medium speed of blade.

of course if we talk about BLADE we must think what type of rubbers we want to use.

There is no need to rush the decision. You also should know, of the blades you are considering, all of them are a good choice. Whichever one you choose, as you use it for a while, you will adjust to it and it will work for you.

If you have big hands and are worried about handle size, you should know, for me, the nicest handle I have ever used was the flare handle from OSP. There is nothing that comes close. It is the same size and shape as a Stiga Master Flare handle but the wood they use is sooooo much better.

But I also know that I personally don’t really use or hold by the handle. I primarily hold with my index finger and thumb. The other three fingers are gentle around the handle and are used for refining the angle of the grip rather than holding. So, for me, the handle rarely matters. The wings matter more than the handle to me.

The way I hold works so much better for for me for shifting grips for FH hook, FH fade, BH, etc that if the middle, ring and pinky fingers were holding tighter it would really interfere with my quality of spin, contact and the versatility of shots at my disposal that I can choose in a fraction of a second.

I don’t even realize I adjust my grip as I do it.

I played with my friend’s Stiga WRB with Mark V on both sides today.

I was instantly getting so much more dwell time, spin, and grip.

I think my Rasant Grip rubber (2 or 3 years old) has defintely lost its grip.

This confirms to me that I need new rubbers for my desired style.

I own the Korbel, Virtuoso and Primorac, all great blades that are similar enough and would fit what you're looking for. Of the 3, the Virtuoso has by far the most comfortable handle (of any blades out there really).

But I think Vega Europe would be betwee Vega Intro and Vega Pro yeah? I think Intro would be too slow.

If you are going with Virtuoso+, go with Vega Euro DF
If you are going with Acoustic, go with Vega Pro
