Chinese rubbers are almost unplayable with out boosters.
I hate it when people say this.
To clarify: They are playable when you do a full loop; what is meant by that is: Legs Way past your shoulder width, arm goes lower than your knees, almost fully stretched out, with your waist bent to your racket arm, then you straighten your body in conjunction with your arm (Very, very, very crucial), and your arm snaps up a 90 degree angle on it reaches your waist. (There's more but I can't explain it all).
I'm sure, someone with good technique would be fine with unboosted Chinese rubbers.

Rayeez never mind that, tell me what's the difference between the EL-P and MX-P and if you had to choose one on both sides which would it be?
Both of them are fast, spinny, neither are sensitive to spin and have throw angles pretty close to T05 (The only Tenergy I've used for reasonable amount of time)
To me, the MX-P (Maximum power) is faster (Obviously), is more spinny, but it's throw angle is marginally lower. EL-P on the other hand has more control, and even less sensitivity to spin. With both of them, the spin & Speed is very noticeable powerloops. With the EL-P, I can place the ball anywhere, which is why I love it on BH.

Personally though, I would use MX-P on both sides, just because of the extra spin and speed.

Thanks man, my heart also says MX-P but I was worried because the EL-P is 45deg and it just sounds safer when you hear that number. Yet I'm not a big fan of soft mushy rubber. I was worried MX-P will be too hard and playing practice drills on the table will suffer. Which does banana flick easier? From my constant searched nobody has covered this aspect at all.

If the manufacturer soaks the sponge in some booster chemical, and then puts it in the package it is legal for you to use it. If you buy the same booster chemical and put it on the sponge, it is illegal, even if all you are doing is restoring a factory boosted rubber to its original condition.. Nobody seems to be able to justify this but that is the rule all the same. Originally Adham Sharara said the ban on boosters was a safety and health issue, but of course, one of the main ingredients is the same as baby oil -- something we rub onto the skin of babies.

MX-P is a little harder than T05 and EL-P is a bit softer. It's a matter of taste. I like to use the same rubber on both sides. I would probably go with MX-P. EL-P is a good rubber, but it was just a little too soft for my tastes. Both are pretty heavily factory-boosted. Not sure that I could say that one is better for banana flick than the other. Probably it doesn't matter a lot.

for Banana flick it depends on your technique, if you do banana flick with your wrist outside your normal hitting zone , more like a soft flick , then its better to use an ALC blade from my personal experience, e.g I have found using T05 rubber this is easier to do using ZJK ALC rather than LONG 5 even though LONG 5 + MX P is a good combination for general backhand strokes, however if you have good footwork and can get on top of the ball everytime and do it with a technique like FZD or ZJK then the blade/rubber does not matter so much. So its just not the rubber primarily its your technique that decides.
