Why they always blame superfluous things for losing omg.
For sure the seamless ball is the reason why hugo win. If i play with seamless ball i can beat all the chinese too fr fr no need for training naaaah bro seamless balls are all you need
It's a fine line for sure.

it's a thing really, I am talking on my own exp, in the amateur leagues that I am playing, changes in balls/tables/lighting may affect the performance in some degrees (I perform worse with seamless ball as a H3 player). Pros may adapt well but does not mean they are not affected - even 3-5% performance drop would decide the whole match.

Is there other places that sell the hugo KL-C inner blade then the official site? I can’t seem to find it elsewhere. The official site does not ship to

Is the headsize of the Hugo blade really 155x150mm?

157 x 152 mm is correct and this is really bad service from Joola. A new blade is coming out, they list a picture which clearly says 155 x 150 mm. Customers like me (who do not like head heavy blades) buy the blade because of this smaller head and when the blade arrives they realise that it has a (little) oversized head. Is there really NO quality control for their website?

Besides this the first impressions are really good. I like the feeling of the KL-C Inner.

Yinhe makes the same blade (Pro 05) for less than half the price.
With all respect, the Yinhe might use the same composition, but really it never is the same blade.
Or do you know for sure with sources of evidence that the carbon layer is identical, the sources of the woods are identical, the technique to apply the glue between the various layers is identical, the glue itself is identical, temperature/pressure of the whole assembly steps are identical, etc?

The nature and play characteristics of a blade are never based only on the wood composition.

While this is true the same could be said about variation between blades at the same manufacturer...wood varies a lot. You got me on gluing method; that could be different. But my point was to note they have the same composition on paper--including the same carbon fiber (though here, too, orientation of the fibers could possibly be different)--so the Pro 05 offers an alternative for someone with a smaller budget, looking for a backup, or just curious to try something similar.

I personally own the Pro 05 and I think it's a really solid blade. I'd be curious to feel how the Joola version compares, but seeing as how their composition is identical--insofar as the information available to us--I'm not interested in spending $120 to buy the same blade.

My prediction is they feel about as different as a FZD ALC/TB ALC/Viscaria do to each other. I'm all for a more serious EJ testing both and giving us a report though 😁.

A colleague of mine has a few different Apolonia ZLC blades and says all of them feel differently.
He plays 2nd Bundesliga, so I guess he knows his equipment well.

I experienced this as well with my Franziska ZLC...
