From what I've read. The closest I know of would probably be Tibhar Aurus.

I also found a comment saying: "adidas p7...similar characteristics with barrracuda, a little bit spinnier and in my opinion a little bit forgiving with incomming spin"
I've not tried either, planing on changing my bh Adidas P7 with Aurus Soft. (since I found P7 to be a tiny bit too hard for my blade and bh)

So, I'd recomend one of those two. (Tibhar Aurus or Donic Barracuda)

I've been on a similar quest myself. I'm going to try out the rasant grip, I've heard its just as spinny

Similar in what department? Feel? Throw? Spin? or overall? In terms of spin/speed, there is Fastarc G-1. monstruous spin as well. Less bouncy than P7.
Rakza 7, same speed and spin but plays way differently. Its closer to T05 than P7.
Boosted Hurricane 8.
Rakza X share some similarities. Spin is good, speed is ok. But feels harder than P7 and despite being dead shortgame its block is a bit hard.

With its hard sponge and relatively soft topsheet p7 could be seen as a forerunner for the new generation rubbers like Acuda Blue and Tibhar Quantum. I am currently testing Acuda P2 but haven´t yet tried adidas P7 on the same racket.

As for the general situation, on an German forum it has been confirmed that adidas rubbers will remain on the ITTF equipment list until 2017, so if you can buy cheap and store the best advice might be "stick to it".
