The Rhythm of flowing with the incoming ball so your body is in the correct position and you can hit at the correct timing.
My trigger for continuous forehand looping is relaxing with my follow thru until the ball is physically blocked which acts as the trigger to start the motion back to and then from my right hip and then executing my fh looping stroke again. The better the training partner at being able to down-block the more flowing it feels. Now that I have the trigger correct I’ve broken through to be able to be quite consistent with partners that can only active/kick block.
I haven’t found the same trigger or rhythm for continuous backhand looping after opening against push.
I’m hoping I have articulated myself properly and I can get some advice on how others have overcome.
In my mind I feel this is a super advanced topic but I’m hopeful in reality this skill could be something intermediate level have been able to figure out or there is a coaching shortcut that I can work on.
