i got this info from a user at ttd(killerspin) and he mentioned that stiga got a crw blade. anybody know anything about this blade? i can't find it at stigas homepage or their facebook. is it a special made blade or just image? the look of it is amazing, very beautiful. look like a mixture of rosewood and clipper. would be interesting to get some kind of info about this blade.

It is for China market only with Clipper wood structure and Rosewood topsheet. A merge of two generation's great TT player, LGL and XX. Released in 2013. It is a thick and heavy 7 ply wood blade. Can be bought for a little under USD200 from taobao.

I am not sure but I think that where the two plies that are red would be in the CRW, the Rosewood VII has thin plies of Rosewood.

Also, I think the head sizes may be different.

You know what, I was thinking of the Ebenholz NCT VII. From that photo it looks like the core of the Rosewood NCT VII is thinner and the red plies on the CRW VII are thinner.

But I guess I would have to see them next to each other. I also saw a stat that says the CRW VII is 6.8mm thick and the Rosewood NCT VII is 7mm thick. I am not sure that is accurate.

It is interesting though, they really don't look that different.
