After going through all my videos at unigames, I have selected my best points out of them and compiled them into a video. My initial intention is to raise awareness of table tennis for those around me.

This video has alot of my RPB, dedicated to OSP!

Thanks OSP!
I cant wait till we meet and play a match! But what does 'spot me 5 points' mean? If you mean I am giving you 5 points first? Then I will lose even quicker than I already would lol.

Yes, handicap ... I start with 5 pts to even out the chances... nah you would kill me, you got a rpb, your loops better than mine, not going to lie, my smashes may edge out your smashes ... your footwork and defense way better than my non-existent footwork and defense!

Edge to you!

The question is How does Der_Echte manage that, with his rambo looper and killer backhand videos out there ?
Everyone is doing the DerEchte hustle - talking about how weak they are and spotting each other points before creaming their opponent's behind.

You think people watch all those long unedited videos? You have to hear DerEchte talk and then you will forget just hearing his accent that he even plays TT.

The problem is that Archosaurus wants to play like CNT. Your guy was probably just trying to get the ball on the table and make it hard for his opponent to do another shot. Given their resources, one was delusional and the other practical. But things can always change.

I'm starting to find out that slightly "weaker" shots, but as much spin as possible and good placement, take me much, much farther at the level I play at. 50 - 60% power with some spin and consistency is much better than trying to 70 - 80% the ball constantly: at my level of ability. My footwork and general ability in seeing the ball just doesn't support it.

My reasoning for this is that if I try to play a higher level game than I can, I can only do it in a very simple and crude way.

Think of the people my level who insist on hitting the ball as hard as they can every time it comes to their forehand. What does it end up looking like?

They either miss most shots outright, or the placement and variance is so predictable that you could block them off the table with your eyes closed, right?

lol @ Der_Echte.

Had a chance to practice with a friend today. We practiced getting the feel required for counter loop by doing some long distance forehand loops, and then simple drills where he loops up a backspin ball and I try to counter it. At the end of it, I got some going, and then in a game setting, I unconsciously did 2 and they landed. That was my highlight of my day. I will try to get him to practice more with me next time we play again in a week's time.

NL is true in that few will watch all the match video. It is true that I actually have all the weaknesses I discuss and many others. I am USEC 1900s rated for good reasons.

What I have going for me is that I am 50ish really fat old looking dude with 30 yrs wear and tear on my body and joints. I can barely bend over to pick up a ball and I can barely hear you in the tt hall. My warmup strokes are very unimpressive and my serve motion is not an extremely long snake bend and twist. I often choose to push and block.

Those things are the true things that work my Jedi Mind trick.

They also work for me in basketball. One look at me and you dismiss me right away as NOT an athlete of any measure. Big mistake. I just hustled you. NO ONE will beat me to rebound position or box me out. I am low and heavy hard to move once I plant. A loose ball on the floor is MY ball stay away u less you want a body crash and the accompanying bruises... you won't get there first. I own those balls. Steals, rebounds, fouls and team defense all add up. I am not even getting started on my inside game where I fake you out and go around you or other side for a hook shot. You give me position and leverage and I will wear you out.

Unfortunately (but good for my hustle) people do not see the easy little signs that should warn you something doesn't add up. By the time anyone realizes what happened, I am eating chicken and drinking Beerz all free of charge... bless them all who provide for me so graciously.

If a big heavy guy is playing a sport really not made for big heavy guys, you better watch the hell out.

It's like those 60+ year old SOF vets. There's a reason they're still vets and not 6 feet under.

Chicken and Beer ([emoji490] and [emoji482]) hustle: I actually think that if you get Der betting on his favorite sport for his favorite food and drink, [emoji490] & [emoji482], then you will be in trouble. As soon as chicken and beer is on the line, Der plays a good 300-400 points better than usual; all of a sudden he plays like he is 2400-2500. And there is no stopping him.

Carl is embellishing it just a little... but it is true I step it up noticeably whenever I visit NYC or play for food/drinks.
