I find those conditions slow and lacking spin.

I try to stand up to the table even though I usually have a habit of dropping off. I try to ensure I am taking the ball early rather than letting in it come on to me. I like to topspin but will play more of a 75% shot so I make sure I am getting more balls on (happy to rally) and only really going for the obvious winners (the short/high returns). I also dry the ball on my shirt every time I get it in my hands.

Good luck with the game buddy :D

If you get a glass of cold water (from the fridge), and take it to warm place (your living room)..you will get condensation on the glass. Water droplets will appear.
If you get a glass of lukewarm water (or room temperature), and pop it in the in the fridge (or outside your house during winter..:))...no condensation will appear on the glass. The water will just get cold.
As long as your equipment is warmer than the hall, you should be okay...not vice versa. :D
