Dylan, as Scottish #1, you have access to great coaches, so ask THEM. Not people on a forum that do not know you and have never seen you play.

Note: you should have a sponsorship deal so I'd expect you can get a few blades cheap and sell them if not suitable, or try your mates'.

Common sense wins out. As much as many coaches are not familiar with equipment, he should at least be able to test and select.
