Dignics 80 vs Hurricane 3 Neo Provincial

Very helpful! thanks! I have D05 lying around somewhere. I don't have any D80. Right now I am still having some fun with soft ESN rubber (like 42-45 degree) on the BH side. When it is time to upgrade, I will keep D80 in mind along with D05.
Use your D05, it’s such a fantastic rubber if your BH is excellent. If you feel your BH still needs some work like mine, then you can consider D80. But D05 is already fantastic it’s just I struggle with spin sensitivity so I don’t use it until I can adapt better with spin reading. But if such things aren’t a problem for you, use ur D05 as you can produce spinny power loops very well with it

I have gone to D80 on both sides and I am having a blast. I can actually hit topspins past people again. Not as much spin but again, this is all relative and for where my.game is right now, the tradeoff is fine.

Lol, maybe I will stick D05 on one of my blades and try it on my backhand. But that might be a project for a month down the road! I will heed your advice about D80 at some point as well. Thanks again!

Really D80 not that much less spinny than D05 and it’s still a ton of spin while being very easy to play. I think D80 is for us amateurs while D05 is for the pros.

Not saying he can't use it, just saying that we as non pros are much better with D80 than D05. and if D80 is good enough for a 2016 Rio Olympic Bronze medalist, it's good enough for us
