Dr Neubauer Matador Titan

Some feedback:

- The blade is heavier compared to Matador Texa Carbon
- Forehand is a little bit faster
- Control on the backhand is similar, maybe a little bit more feeling on Titan
- Pairing with a hard rubber makes the blade feel heavy (compraed to G1 2.0 on MTC)

I'll be testing it more, any other feedback from you guys would be appreciated

I have mixed feelings about the quality control of Dr. Neubauer. 3 of 4 products that I have are away from "German quality". The last one is Matador Titan — different dimensions, bad finish near the handle. Sharp titanium wires are sticking out and need removal.

Measurements before sealing:
Weight 90.2g;
Frequency 1230 Hz;
Balance ~44mm
Speed on low impact ALL / ALL+;
Head dimensions 156 x 150mm;
Thickness 6.15mm;
Handle length FL 99mm;
Handle bottom 23.8 x 34.4mm;
Handle mid 23 x 27mm;

My guess for construction:
walnut / ayous / titanium mesh / kiri x3 / texalium / ayous / walnut

Bumping this, have anyone had a chance to test out this blade?
I tested it for ~ 3 hours with 2 sets of rubbers: Mantra Pro XH + 388c-1 1.2 mm and TDE + Ilius B 1.3mm.

My first impressions are that Dr. N Matador Titan is stable and have some gears. On high impact played like OFF-, on low like ALL. Dwell time on BH was high for a stiff blade but lower than Gladiator. Ilius B was very good match for the BH on Matador Titan. Everything was possible, but I have a feeling that this rubber will play even better on a faster blade. My impressions of the FH side are still limited. Only can share that TDE was slower on MT than on Stuor CNF. Mantra Pro XH was still too fast for me. I was unable to adjust, and also did not want to. Next, I am thinking about putting this new Batle III Purple on FH and 388C-3 on BH.

I think this blade will work even better for anti spin than long pimples, i've tested it with grass and i was able to place the ball exatcly where I wanted almost everything was on the table. Just imagine it with slower anti spin, or even with ABS 2 PRO it can be also ust a pure destruction. But the blade needs a good forehand rubber, I tested XIOM J&H C55 on it and it was too fast for me, need something a little bit slower but no idea what.

Is softer or harder than MTC?
I don't have MTC, but it looks like Matador Titan is with the same walnut top and ayous second layer. So, expect it to be with the same hardness on low hits. On hard hit expect to be softer due to the titan mesh is softer than carbon. Also, I can bet that Titan is overall slower than MTC.

Prov H3N orange sponge 38-39 degrees if you like to chop and loop. But without a boost, it is significantly slower than J&H C55. G09C is probably closer in speed than H3N. Depends how hard you hit.

I finally got a chance to use my new setup which is Dr Neubauer Matador Titan with Stiga Helix XH on my F.H and Dr Neubauer Aggressor Pro 1.5mm on my B.H. I've had 4 hours and have been really impressed with my set up the F.H is off I would say with good speed and fantastic feel for blocking and opening up from pushes or chops . The B.H really shines when attacking the ball stays really low making it hard for your opponent!! Also lots of deception on slow blocks !! Really happy with my new setup

Just an update on this amazing Blade from Dr Neubauer I can understand why Luka Mlandenovic has switched to it !!! Anyone who is playing a modern defender game with benefit from using Dr Neubauer Matador Titan. After More practice I believe the F.H to be -off with great control loving opening up against Backspin!!!! The B.H is amazing superb control and excellent deception on passive shots , with devastating results when attacking!! This really is an excellent choice for a modern defensive player !!!!
