Everything You Need To Know about TTDSL!

For the last 20 years the sport of table tennis has had to find tonnes of ways to evolve in order to meet the rapidly increasing demands of the 21st century and the technological age.

In the last two decades Table tennis federations, leagues, and companies have had to make use of social media in a number of ingenious ways in order to compete with mainstream sports such as football and cricket and now more recently with Esports such as Fortnite and Call of Duty.

With the aim of helping to push the sport forward in the most positive and modern way possible, TableTennisDaily would now like to introduce you to our biggest and most ambitious project to date:

The TableTennisDaily Super League (TTDSL)

The TTDSL is a new and dynamic international table tennis league which will take place in Cardiff, Wales. The series will be shown in episodic format and season 1 will document the TableTennisDaily Team’s attempt to be crowned the first ever TTDSL Champions.

The initial goal of the TableTennisDaily Team (TTD Team) was to transcend the sport and bring table tennis to the masses. In their 2019/20 table tennis season the first big steps were made in order to achieve this and the results were fantastic. During their debut season the TTD Team was one of the most watched table tennis teams in Europe, with an average of 100,000 viewers per match.

The TTDSL itself will be made up of 8 specially selected teams and will feature the UK’s biggest clubs and players, including an array of strong international talent.

The TTD Team Itself will comprise of all your returning favourites. Players such as the Pocket Rocket, Dan, Tom the Frog, and the Captain will all be there. In addition to this, they will also be joined by stars of the TTD Junior Team, Danish Junior number 1, Daniel Simonsen (the Dane) and England Junior number 1, Louis Price (the Beast). Paralympic gold medallist and World Champion Will Bayley will also make his TTD Team debut.

The season 1 premiere will be shown exclusively on the TableTennisDaily YouTube channel this summer and new episodes will be released each month.
