Sooooooo i am most certainly back on lac on bh on Pro 01.
Jesus some months ago i was pretty sure, that his wouldnt happen that soon or even at all.
But several things forced me to empower my bh again.

Inner AC+H3 was good, but made me weaker on my bh overall. I did developed my bh quite further thanks to H3 being quit stubborn giving me its power and relentless in showing me if i did a mistake. So yeah i did learn many things with it and got better in many aspects on my bh.

One occasion though forced me to evaluate my setup. I have an opponent who played now one league higher, which i joined this year, due to me getting my TTR to that level.
So i met him again and usually i simply forced him into the defensive and could dominate him somehow. I usually made several mistakes after it, but most of the time it was me creating opportunities.
But this time, everything was different. Oppenings were too slow and weak, so he could counter them easier and would stay in the game much longer than he was.
Long story shot i lost again 2:3 as i ususally do against him, but my game made no progress against him. I was certain that i would have demolished him with my earlier "playstyle" and setup. Yeah sure he got better too, but that wouldnt have changed my approach and his issues with it.
And before anyone say: bla blah that is just one opponent, you are overreacting.
No!

I glued H3 fh and lac on bh. And 2 sessions later i start winning against everyone in my club and team, that are usually beating me these past couple of weeks, maybe months...

Soooooooooo i am currently trying to get my fh on the same level as i have had it on the inner AC lmao.
Bh though is on a total different level now. I open up, and can totally shit on the coming block. I was never capable of that before. Even different openups i can now FZD/LSDing back in the faces of my opponents. Damn that feels so satisfying you cant imagine. Or you probably can, but you know, that shits fun af.
I hope you can relate... so

Im back on lac on an outer alc xD

PS: Several ours in and no bubble so far although i do tend to hit more than one edge at one training session öÖ

I'm playing a lot with the Arthur China blue sponge, glued on the DHS King acB, boosted with 2 layers of JieChi green. It's slower than H3 Nat BS, and it's better for me for blocks and short returns, I make way less errors. I really loves how it feels on the acB, I'm very surprised. I thought that LAC BS would be useless, but in fact it's very good when boosted accordingly.

I'm thinking about ordering more. It's a pain that it's only available on Taobao, it will cost me 30€ a sheet instead of 20 for normal LAC.

There is a new rubber available on aliexpress Loki Kirin K5 https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3256807872330182.html
Has anyone used it ? In the description it says its a 37 degree hardness rubber. I wonder how grippy and fast it is because the Loki Telson red rubber is too hard for the backhand
I will try this K5 sometime. I have tried K1 and K3. The K3 is pretty good, the K1 is actually quite good. K1 topsheet is grippy and has a nice rich color. With booster, it has good speed and punches and loops well.

I'm pretty sure K5 will be good, maybe even better than K1.

@mattlamperouge Do you know if K5 has that rich surface like K1? or the matte surface like K3?

I can relate, because I remember back in the days I couldn't play with H3 H37 on the BH, because I felt I can't sustain exchanges, and you were still using it and enjoying it, causing severe trauma ;-) So now the world is back in order ;-)

Anyway, I tried several BH rubbers and I'm somewhat sensitive to the hardness - the 47-48 is the right one for me for the BH. E.g. the Rakza XX, cool rubber, felt a bit too hard for my BH... And I have to say, I'm really enjoying Glayzer now, more than the previous rubbers (RXX, O7P, Vega X, Vega Pro, Rakza X, F-G1), it just ticks...

On the FH I've now succumbed to my team mate, and I've put the D09C - a non-chinese rubber, on the Viscaria, and here again, I really like it. E.g. I didn't like even the Rakza Z EH, felt too soft, but the sponge response from D09C is pretty similar to well boosted chinese rubber, and the top-sheet has the right firmness too. Really good, I don't regret buying it. After so many years and I'm BTFLY-complete now ;-) It's also funny I can't imagine playing D09C on the BH, even though I know people who do, and here in TTD also often people mention how good D09C is on the BH - it's impossibly hard for the BH for me - of course, we all have our preferences, and all this is so known that writing it is almost a waste of bytes... At the moment I think, should my BH really improve, I'd consider G09C, but it's not near now... Cheers.

Hi, 42-43g cut (157x150mm,159x150mm).

I am sharing the weights of the Rxton 7 rubbers (40d & 37d).

The rubber is not pre-glued. Both are 69-70g uncut including protective film.
I glued them to my blade which is 84g CPen, and cut them to about 158x150mm.

It was 138g (54g increase) with the 40d FH rubber and 190g (52g increase) with both rubbers.
The final weight was 186g after removing the film from both sides.

According to my calculations, the cut 40d rubber is 52g and the cut 37d rubber is 50g.
Strangely, the uncut weights are the same.

I love more and more the LAC blue sponge (boosted twice with JieChi). Maybe I improved my FH enough for that, but I like the extra speed compared to the unboosted normal LAC. Moreover, it has more control that H3 Nat BS boosted the same way. I see no flaw in the combo LAC BS + Hurricane King acB, and it will be my setup for the tournament I have in 2 weeks.

Is LAC getting discontinued or something? They seem to be getting scarce on aliexpress.

Is LAC suitable for backhand? I have this and a used K3 off different colours and I would use them on a W968 like blade.
Or should I use a more tamed rubber such as Palio AK 47 Yellow for bakhand?
Look at the overall weight and balance of the racket that you get. LAC is quite heavy, unlike AK47.

Im only using it on bh. If you have around the same power and technique or even better, than lac on bh wont be an issue.
On fh the bond between rubber and sponge is still too weak. I would destroy it in less than a month currently.
