Let me know how it plays. I forgot, did you also play with Jupiter 3? Maybe you can compare the 2.

I'm really looking forward to playing with LAC. Problem is I have still many rubbers on backlog to play through.

And I keep getting delayed because I keep remembering how good my old rubbers like Jupiter 3 and GTX are so I go back to those from time to time.

So... I am very satisfied with this rubber. Even unboosted, it feels almost exactly like Battle 2 NT, with a little bouncier and higher throw. The thing I like the most is it's still linear, softer but still crispy (I don't like the feeling of Asia 3, it turns towards hybrid too much, with bouncy sponge, but lost the linearity of the Chinese rubber). I don't have to change any techniques with this rubber. Let's see how long it will last (usually I break 1 sheet of B2/H3 after 3 months)

Do you usually boost your B2?

Looks great!! So are you saying it feels/plays similar to a 1 layer boosted B2 NT? How do you compare them on other areas of the game such as serve & recive, touch play, blocking etc?

This is exactly why Arthur China is my FH rubber of choice now. Life is too short to have to boost and then wait for it to uncurl some and to risk bubbles and then remove to reboost. It's like the perfected version of H3 Neo (the prototypical Chinese tacky) for me.

it's almost the same, I feel at home doing matches with it - it feels like a 1 layer boosted B2 NT - the only noticeable difference is, when hitting hard, it's easier to hit through the sponge (this explains its higher throw)

the advert for the loki Arthur china declares:

"Arthur China, a combination of sticky rubber noodles + cake sponges,"
so i can have the noodles for main course and the cake-sponge for desert ?

But really I wonder how it can be better than a neoH3 when being advertised as
"""HARD RUBBER""" and we all know how hard the Rxton 5 sponges are.

Can you therefore confirm that Arthur China plays like a boosted H3 Neo ?
I mean, the price is the same but if it does not need boosting...................

It doesnt actually play the same. The harder untypical bounce off, of a chinese rubber, can be triggered way easier with LAC.
So it actually is surprisingly easier to use to get a serious force behind your shots (for us amateurs), than with H3.

It somewhat is similar in some way because otherwise i couldnt use it on bh too :p

It's only $15 on Lazada too right now. Do you know why VN sometimes has better prices than even Aliexpress? I can also buy Battle 2 Pro and Battle Max Pro for around $15 when it's at least $20 on Aliexpress.

Maybe shipping? Aliexpress ships globally to western countries while Lazada ships to Southeast Asia.

Lazada sellers are shipping from China too. So they are somehow getting it at cost. Or they are getting rejects or 'lost' items.

Decided to buy straight from Loki store for a couple bucks extra. Aliexpress summer sale made the prices similar enough.

Okey so based on this discussion about LAC & GTX i asked my Loki agent how they classify and compare them to other competing products & she consult the research team. Here Is what she told me (there Is Some confusing phrasing due to translation i think):

1-Arthur CHINA is very similar to D09C, and its positioning in CHINA is aimed at viscous German rubber. (I assume viscous mean Tacky or sticky based on AliExpress product descriptions, by German maybe they mean the cake sponge or hybrid feel?)
2-GTX is an early product, and RXTON7 is a brand new upgrade.
3-RXTON9 is a high-end product for NEO National Team version.
4-RXTON5 is positioned as standard H3 Basic version RXTON9 for national team version
The above performance summary comes from the judgment of most of the professional players in Yu Zhongguo,
Chinese players will be more picky about DHS and Butterfly.
We will continue to improve
Some even surpass them

So it seems they think LAC & the new Rxton 7 compete on a similar market (D09c alternatives) based on performance reviews from chinese players. Lets keep the discussion going sharing experiencies with the rubbers. Im waiting for a sample package to arrive so i can test them (with some blades too)

Awesome info!

Definitely I agree that Rxton 5 is similar to H3 and GTX is similar to D09c. If Rxton 7 is upgrade to GTX, im very keen to test it. Rxton 9 being the "national" version makes sense.

Just 2 questions, what is the reason to have 2 separate D09c clones in Rxton 7 and LAC?

Also can you ask the role of N80? That also seems to be clone of H3. Seems unnecessary if they already have Rxton 5 and Rxton 9?

I have never played Jun ZLC so I don't know but the LAC definitely suits the Long 5, Long 5 Light and similar blades for me. A broken in H3 Neo and Long 5 is a very good match but the LAC just makes it even easier to play with.

I actually had the chance to hit with the D09c at the end of last week and swapped rackets with my trainingpartner.
So yeah LAC has some characteristics that are comparable to D09c but i wouldnt say they are that similar.
- D09c has a higher throw than LAC
- Arc is nearly the same, at least really close to each other
- While LAC is bouncy for a chinese rubber it still feels way harder with low impact shots than D09c which is overall still more dynamic
- LAC does have a way stickier topsheet than D09c
- D09c surprisingly gives a better feedback and overall feel for its user, not by much but noticable.

Dont get me wrong here, because it could seem as many and huge differences, but they are not. The differences are there but not by huge margin. I even said jokingly to my mate that he could just get LAC and save a shitload money because these rubbers are somewhat close to each other.
So i see the point of Loki and they did a decent job here to present at least an alternative imo

This really tempts me to get the LAC, but I already have enough rubbers for at least another 18 months... by then the Rxton 7 and 9 should be out. I shall wait for that...
