Bloom Power H47-2.2
- Feels very similar to Battle 2 gold - I guess they use the same sponge since they look almost the same
- Bloom's topsheet is stickier, leads to higher throw
- Great control, service and creating topspin
- I use it unboosted, some efforts are needed to generate power, I bet 1 layer of booster will bring the speed equal to LAC
- Great candidate to replace LAC if the lifespan is the same as Battle 2 (3 months)

How is Bloom Power for Backhand?
Either 45 or 47 Degree.
I got too many Black rubbers and need 1 or 2 Red ones that arent H8 80.
It will go on my Stiga Offensive Classic, so not my main blade.
I want to be able to flip and play similar BH shots like Fan Zhendong ( although i am not quite there yet).
Is it suitable or are there similar ones?

Should be good for bh, 45 would be fine

I don't think so.. its sponge is too dense, even for H45, need strong force to make the ball eat the sponge. Currently I am using Yinhe Moon 12 Blue H- for backhand, it's way easier to play on BH

Well you used G09c for BH right? I think H45 would be about the same hardness

Maybe it is the top sheet? I boosted my pink Loki R3 and my blue Loki R3. They curled up pretty easily. But when I apply to the other, there is little to no catapult effect. With my old sheet of H3 neo, it has been boosted a couple times and transferred between the blades a couple times. So I am comparing both rubbers on the same blade: H3 neo boosted on the forehand side and Loki R3 pink/blue on the backhand side. And I would twiddle the blade around to compare. Yeah, the Loki R3 pink/blue just feel dead to me. H3 neo has some catapult effect (not as much as say Rakza 7 soft or C-1, ESN rubber per se, but some catapult effect). Loki R3 pink/blue has none. And maybe the top sheet of R3 is harder than the top sheet of H3 neo. Anyway, so it feels dead to me so I think overall it is harder including the top sheet? I just don't like it.

I am not too much into the exact hardness of a certain rubber's sponge. I also have a machine at home that I hit the new set up with. But I find that only if I go to a club and play a couple practice rounds and matches with a set up, could I finally give an accurate impression. Yesterday I brought the R3 pink and blue to the club. Just did not vibe well with me.
Yep, same here, went with my "pinky " to club1 and it's got """"Nothing""""
I will put it in the cupboard and wait for some beginner needing a cheap rubber
to replace the 20 year old shiny one that on his/her racket. It will then represent an improvement, 😁
I also have a defensive TPS blade with boosted neo and H3 on the other side.
After 2 years both rubbers are still nice and soft and sticky and outperform most
rubbers I have spend my money on since.
Life is fun.

This looks so weird. It has no ITTF registration number, but it is on the LARC. But the mold there is different. Why in the world would 729 do this?

At training like who cares, but probably in a competition this would be ruled out, right?

How's the Moon 12? Like compared to G-1? For the same price which would you pick up?

Slower in my experience. Less bounce and lower topspeed. I would say it is has the same spin capabilities. So you should be able to perform the same quality of shots, just overall slower if you are able to topout G-1, which is not so ez on bh though.

In terms of price Moon 12 is less than 2/3 of G-1 in my country. 24€ compared to 37-41 for the G-1.
So which one i would pick up - probably Moon 12 until i am good enough. Then i would pick Loki Arthur China xD
But i still see the quality of a G-1 and i played that rubber for quite some time on different setups, although mostly on vis-clones.
What i try to say is - G-1 is a bit harder to control but way more rewarding for good technique. Moon 12 forgives soooooo much and you can almost block everything.

Yeah, with the way people love love Loki rubber, I thought I was wrong. I am glad that you agree with me. At $14-$15 a sheet for the pink and the blue Rxton 3, I don't really care.

I do have one sheet of Andro Rasanter R47 that is a bit too hard for me. I am saving that for future once my backhand loop is better and I will move from a soft ESN to a medium ESN.

Yes, like you, the H3 hurricane boosted a couple times age really well. I like it! The top sheet is not way too tacky which would make it slower. Just the right amount of tackiness.

Now back to my Rxton 1 Plus with black sponge. Yes, it is nice but no catapult. I think I will have to take it down. I have it on the backhand of a Lemuria ZJK ZLC clone. The blade is fast but not too fast. Forehand is...of course...H3 neo. I have shipment of Xiom Vega Europe coming in.

For my regular blades, I am using Rakza 7 soft and C-1 on the backhand side. I used Xom Vega Europe to tame my Nittaku Acoustic Carbon which is way too fast. Now I am going to get another sheet to tame this Lemuria blade.

Thanks, that's a pretty objective standpoint. I will probably just stay with G-1. While stable BH blocking sounds attractive for a lefty, for me also the BH open-up and chiquita are equally if not more important. I like a little FTL boosted G-1 since it is helping so much while having grip always. It's very hard to explain but it is supple (like Tenergy) and feels like a 3/4 inflated beach ball, and a solid bouncy ball that kids throw around... Like it's a combination of all of these.
And the grip doesn't come from some top layer coating BS (bullshit, not blue sponge) like in newer ESN thin sheet, thick sponge rubbers, but the actual topsheet material. I suppose this is why it's so durable.

I have tried Moon Speed at 35deg, and for that time the 12EURish price it was awesome. It could be also boosted and felt even better. But this Moon 12 with being a bit dull does sound like more of a control type rubber and not for someone who is seeking opportunities with BH attack.

I actually wouldnt even advise someone to go for moon blue 12 if you are comfy with a G-1. There is no other advantage than being slower and more controllable. Aside from someone who seeks more control and/or wishes to learn bh.

The harder version may be faster?
On the other hand, I don't think any Chinese non-tacky rubber could match the speed of high-end ESN rubber without boosting (let me know if there's any).

AK47 red is definitely faster than G1 and many ESN rubbers.

After I ordered AK47 blue and CJ8000 on July 9th via BEO store on Aliexpress, it just arrived today July 26th. I am going to stick them on my backhand and see how they play. I chose a soft AK47 because I chose a hard version of Big Dipper and I did not like it at all. So let us see if this AK47 blue 38-40 degree lives up to its hype.

Obviously, I will put some booster on it so the earliest I will put it on my blade will be this weekend.

On a side note, the CJ8000 red sheet and the CJ8000 black sheet have different packaging. I guess, welcome to the world of Chinese rubber packaging. It is a mess. So did I get the genuine version according to the packaging? Who knows. I trust BEO store though. But this time the shipment really took a long time.

I am spoiled by TT11 and its fast service so I should probably shut up now.

Oh indeed you are spoiled. Very rarely Ali has a phase when they beat all the records
and a couple of parcels might come here to NZ within 10 days. This only happens a couple of times a year. Standard would be about 5 to 10 weeks, regardless of which postage system one chooses.
Quite often I have to ask for my money back because the 75 days "money back guarantee" has expired. I had small packets arriving to me after 4 months, one , i remember, came via Czech-republic and another one via Estonia.
So , yes, feel spoiled and feel happy

Yeah that's why every time I buy anything from Aliexpress, I always feel like I am playing with Russian Roulette! I try to keep each order small so if the package does not arrive, I will not be disputing a huge sum of money. For example, I will never over $300 of products from one single store on Aliexpress at one time; that would be just asking for trouble :) :)
