At this state i have to agree.
Will test it boosted today - 1 bigger layer of FTL. It didnt dome too much but it changed the topsheet and the visibility of the pimples a lot.
Currently i am pretty sure i will stick with it at least unboosted.
The only disadvantage it has against lac is, that it can get faster too easy. If i dont adjust i am easily capable of overahooting because i hit too hard, which rarely happened with lac.
But for now it seems to be way sturdier than lac, the topsheet feels grippier (maybe softer?!) but the overall sheet is still hard enough. The arc feels better and it seems to be easier to generate spin.
Even though it can make bouncier shots than lac, it simply doesnt do that with shortplay and serves. That is actually quite amazing.
Im still looking out for bigger disadvantages, but for now i cant seem to find them^^
I agree, Spin feels easier, it isnt bouncy on short play and serves, i found if you play "just" with the topsheet by brushing you can create soft spinny shots but with a low safe Arc that just clear the net, i like that very much.
Of course it has grip to brushloop pretty good, but i dont do that a Lot.
I also thought getting speed would be harder due to difference in sponge, but i also overshooted quite a bit before adjusting 😅 and as expected it has great topend speed when hitting really hard.
The good news its that you can take advantage of the speed by adjusting angles and amount of brushing using the topsheet properties, close to the table counters are dangerous.
How would you describe the Arc? Of course it depends on angles & techniques but while i found i can hit pretty high Arc shots when brushing like with other rubbers, the shots that make a great impresion on me & my partners where low Arc loop kills vs underspin, i hitted shots like that before but never this consistent & so deep.
With the linear low Arc Ball looks like it would go out but it barely clears the net then dips deep on the opponent table & it even doesnt seems to bounce just kinda skips. I dont know if it makes a Lot of Sense but Those shots feel amazing.
