I would also like @longle to play R9 for a week before bubbles appear or disappear :)
i've been playing for 2 months or more now.
I hit pretty hard
so far, the topsheet is still doing okay.

I actually like it for BH, but it will be a problem since they not making them in red, and i'm the only red that is really "out there". Since mine was pre production sample

The blue sponge colors look soooooo similar that from the packaging I can't make a difference. Also the packaging plastic is so similar too.
Conspiracy theory: DHS makes it?

Aparently Loki is registered in Yangzhou city which is like literally next to Shanghai.

Also that dragon with the huge ass V looks more like a wild boar than a dragon. For me a dragon looks like Mushu from Mulan😹

When playing Loki N-80, I also have the feeling that I am playing with DHS rubber.

Hi Tony, did you boost R9? it seems to be obvious, but how many layers? I trying to find some starting point as it is also subjective and based on personal preferences if someone plays h3 for such long, know what he/she likes or not.
I've not any experience with Chinese rubbers except new Sanwei Target National which I didn't like even after 2 layers of Seamon or w/o booster.
When I will give it a try for H3 Neo BS Prov or R9 would like to have some starting point. In many threads or YouTube channels there are a lot of information from 1 to up 5 layers!!! it can drive you crazy :)

Oh, I missed it until now, but I just watched it. Have to say you sure developed a smexy voice🤡

I guess we had the same impression about the origin of the rubber. Well maybe Loki makes it, but I'm sure they look over the Yangtze with good binoculars and check how they do it at DHS.

well, as I said, they have Wang Hao on board
just by that alone, should have a good relationship with DHS, since Wang Hao is sponsored by DHS

The quality of R9 is really unbelievably close to H3 #22 national,

as I mentioned in my review video, I had to, since my rubber was aired out for way too long.
I did 2 layer with seamoon and that was okay.
The top sheet grip was excellent

My Red was 40 degrees thought. It should be simliar to your 40.5 Black

At this state i have to agree.
Will test it boosted today - 1 bigger layer of FTL. It didnt dome too much but it changed the topsheet and the visibility of the pimples a lot.
Currently i am pretty sure i will stick with it at least unboosted.
The only disadvantage it has against lac is, that it can get faster too easy. If i dont adjust i am easily capable of overahooting because i hit too hard, which rarely happened with lac.
But for now it seems to be way sturdier than lac, the topsheet feels grippier (maybe softer?!) but the overall sheet is still hard enough. The arc feels better and it seems to be easier to generate spin.
Even though it can make bouncier shots than lac, it simply doesnt do that with shortplay and serves. That is actually quite amazing.

Im still looking out for bigger disadvantages, but for now i cant seem to find them^^
I agree, Spin feels easier, it isnt bouncy on short play and serves, i found if you play "just" with the topsheet by brushing you can create soft spinny shots but with a low safe Arc that just clear the net, i like that very much.
Of course it has grip to brushloop pretty good, but i dont do that a Lot.

I also thought getting speed would be harder due to difference in sponge, but i also overshooted quite a bit before adjusting 😅 and as expected it has great topend speed when hitting really hard.
The good news its that you can take advantage of the speed by adjusting angles and amount of brushing using the topsheet properties, close to the table counters are dangerous.

How would you describe the Arc? Of course it depends on angles & techniques but while i found i can hit pretty high Arc shots when brushing like with other rubbers, the shots that make a great impresion on me & my partners where low Arc loop kills vs underspin, i hitted shots like that before but never this consistent & so deep.
With the linear low Arc Ball looks like it would go out but it barely clears the net then dips deep on the opponent table & it even doesnt seems to bounce just kinda skips. I dont know if it makes a Lot of Sense but Those shots feel amazing.

Slightly higher and wider arc than lac. Lacs throw is a little bit lower.
I tested a lot of looping against close to the table underspin pushes and serves, and it was easier to lift and control the loop with R9 than lac.
This fits way better for my outer alc, because it usually shoots the ball way harder and faster away from my blade, so i had some topspin and looping issues from my fh.
Now i simply have to adjust against incoming speed. I usually counter as hard as i can go mitigate the incoming spin and force the ball down on the opponents side. That should be easier now because i dont need so much force for that anymore. But my brain needs to process this propperly before i start reacting accordingly^^

finally they have R9 on Shopee - price=30$. If the quality is equal to H3 Pro Blue then I expect it to last more than 2 months

I hit a shitload of seriously hard edge shots yesterday. And there is nothing visible on the sponge. So in terms of durability it is nothing like lac.
Im almost certain to stick with R9 on fh and lac on bh. Maybe revisit Moon blue next year, we will see.

The only question remaining is, if i use it boosted or unboosted^^

I glued the Rxton 9 on my racket. It has the factory glue, and it's done very well so no complaints there but it has no smell.
It doesn't have any yucky smell. And just doing bounce tests it doesn't feel boosted. Also it seems rather slow. Will it break in to be faster? I haven't actually played with it yet but I am not chuffed to be honest.

Assuming it is a clone of H3, then it should be slow.

I would be concerned if it was fast.

Just opened my second sheet just for you ;)

It has that usual smell you have when you open up a H3 as well.
Funny enough, the moment i peel of the plastic sheet from the sponge the glue layer came of a bit, so i just tried to rip is off.
What can i say, something that was always a huge struggle to get off from the H3 was damn easy with the R9. I just could peel the glue off of the sponge in one fluent motion.

So i guess im boosting it right on the sponge now xD

Mine smelled like H3NEO when i opened the vacuum sealed package... Bounce test without removing the protection film (to take tackiness out of the test) seem to be close to a month old Lac, maybe a bit less bounce or firmer feelling, but wasnt much different.
first hitting session already felt quite fast, you can make no bounce short touchs but its pretty Easy to get speed out of the rubber without hitting extreamly hard, i was a bit surprised by that jus like @Attitude.

So is it faster than unboosted H3?

Slower than LAC?

Mine has almost no smell at all. It was of course vacuum packed. You can't stand next to H3 for a while it's so yucky but this one barely any smell.

The label on the package said 1H-3T if that means anything.

And I think the topsheet already has one pip detached.
