Tomorrow evening is my game night and I will try to incorporate this power-loop stroke in to my playbook. Right now my default setting is to push / cut or upward slow and spinny loop. Must over ride these default muscle memory first to be able to use this newly learned stroke into my game-play.

I wanna hit these winners so badly coz they make a lot of Tik-Tok worthy moments.

I actually don't enjoy these youtubers, who take other peoples video, and then add English subtitles or voice over and then to become so called "experts" in the field of TT and use it as they own content and increase traffic and possibly make money off these unethical actions.

I prefer those coaches who actually do they own videos, own demonstration and I actually hope more forum member can support legitimate content.
I do also hope these copy right violation youtubers do get fined, but yeah, that won't happen and more of them come out by the day or they just change names and start tomorrow again.

saw a Malong fan made video with Stiga's logo blured out actually an hour ago. Its so disguising, but seems like majority of people supports such actions and such channels.

Okay, i'm done

NO TONY, You are NOT Dun, Mister. You have strong points and you should articulate that very often, even if it upsets people, that is a sign of free speech.

Back to the question at hand... your shot will depend on a few things... position, time, leverage, intent, the ball...

Mostly, you want to be close to the table and make your shot as ball is rising. WHY? The ball has a LOT of vertical energy right after the bounce, so your shot does not need much vertical swing to make the ball over the net. You open your blade, take ball as it is rising a few cm under net height or at net height, REALLY make bat speed and bang into the ball and hit through it... some catch and throw feel, but mostly banging it. You need a real fast bat, a nearly vertical blade angle, and good position/leverage.

Of course, if the ball has weak spin, you can use less direct impact.. but whole point of a power loop is to make great pace and good or great spin. If the ball is slow, it can drop some and it won't matter, your fast bat and impact will make it fly and be a loop kill. You still need a lot of spin, but you generate it with your impact - some catch and throw, mostly banging though.

If you face a player (especially in DOUBLES) who just LOVES to take ball on rise and dig into it real hard to give you a FAST and HEAVY underspin to your wide FH (fun ball to explode and track down in doubles)... then you explode to the ball, plant, and really let loose with a fast bat, open blade angle, and lots of leverage, feel, acceleration.

It is SO FUN to footwork to such a ball and KILL it... it almost defies physics, but it is true and repeatable.

Sergey Scoobie Doo just LOVES this return of serve in doubles, he gets a lot of free point from it vs players who cannot move, explode, and strike it right.
