why nobody banned americans and isrealis? they both have commited war crimes in the recent years. Double standards?

You do realize that this was almost 40 years ago? The people depicted in this pic are 70+ year old now, few generations have changed since then, it was a different country and a different time, you compare something that cannot and should not be compared. The only reason they protested is because they were SURE that the army would not open fire against their own people. And that's exactly what happened. So the fact that you use this as an example makes me wonder if you know anything about countries with dictatorship at all

I would understand if you tried to give Belarus as an example, as they had the most amount of protests in the recent years but even them have failed, any idea why??

He didn't leave after protests, my guy, he left because he was too old to run the country and wanted his "well earned rest" and yet he still has his influence here, money and power. Nothing has changed since he was gone.

1) scale matters - right now Russia conducts a brutal bloodbath that is comparable to WW2 level of casualties without any reason in just several years. I don't defend the U.S., but their deeds were hundred times less and they happened a couple of decades ago.
2) Russia has a disproportionately small economy and poor foreign relations with developed countries. So nobody outside of russia cares if its athletes get banned.

2) eleventh largest economy in the world even though it's the most economically sanctioned country in the world. It's anything but small.

Everyone in those countries tried but no one achieved anything. I'll repeat myself again, why did protests in Belarus fail? Why did protests in Russia fail?

So did the US and Israel, but they are doing it with a total impunity, any idea why?
