Sanwei 75, 729 Blue ALC, Yinhe V14 PRO, sanwei Fextra 7,
Love Fextra 7 for a do-it-all type blade, V14 Pro is kind of stiff imo but good blade for $ if that's what you want for sure. Heard good things about those other two as well.

I hear Sanwei has a bunch of new Surge ALC blades at around $50. If you can save up a bit, those might be some of the best performance to price ratio blades around. I have tried the Paramid and Hynover and they have incredible performance for the price.

The Sanwei 75 is a good blade, I've played with it for 2 years, but I have to say it's not equivalent to the more expensive blades it imitates, at least mine wasn't. It's pretty stiff and haven't had to many feeling, but it was very solid, easy to block. Similar things can be said about the Yinhe V14 Pro.

Carbon blades:
  • Loki Telson Speed (new version, Viscaria structure)
  • Loki Telson China (HL5(x) structure) but also the other Telson blades 1)
  • 729 Blue Advance/Blue AD (feels like Super ALC when compared to Telson Speed or 729 Blue Arylate).
  • 729 Yellow Arylate (HL5 structure)
  • 729 Yellow Advance/AD (HL5 structure with KLC fiber)
  • Loki RXTon5 Pro/Provincial Outer (Viscaria structure but with basalt fibers)
  • Sanwei Fextra 5X inner and 5X outer (Sanwei's take on affordable Viscaria and HL5 type blades)
All-wood blades:
  • 729 Z1 (like a Stiga Offensive Classic)
  • 729 Rose(wood) 5
  • 729 Rose(wood) 7
1)

If you don't mind me asking -

what's the logic behind trying all these cheap blades when it's possible to try just 2 or 3 more expensive high quality blades from more trust worthy brands? it will cost less and you'd be left with a higher quality blade (whichever you liked most out of the 2 or 3).

The quality gap is now so narrow. I even feel that my 4€ Loki Kirin Wood is better than my blades from Stiga and Donic.
I can tell that my higher end blades from Nittaku or Yasaka feels better, but it doesn't matter in the game.. Maybe my skill issue as an amateur is the reason.

Cus I already have lots of expensive blades and I want to try some cheap ones to see how they compare and since its cheaper I won't feel nervous abt damaging a blade

Palio Energy 03 - an unorthodox design with 4 carbon layers, resulting in a very comfy, fast, soft but relatively stiff blade.

As ShakehandJpenCpenEnjoyer already said: the gap in performance is by far not that big as the price difference might suggest. E,g, Viscaria is 170€ over here whereas a Loki Telson Speed or Yinhe V14 Pro costs around 33€. Telson Speed and V14 Pro come factory sealed and are well made.
Other reasons are (for me):
  • I have multiple setups: main, spare + some to try stuff ;)
  • Some like older blades that are a bit slower, softer, more flexible, I don't
  • I sand and sometimes file my blades quite a lot to make them fit perfectly 1) Not as much as some penhold players do but enough to reduce resale value
  • Blades from different batches even with the same weight will feel and perform differently regardless if they are made by Butterfly or any other company.
