Hi guys,

Just thought I'd introduce myself. I've been playing table tennis for about 2 years but only really seriously in the local league for 6 months.

I really enjoy this sport and I love the fact that each player has their own unique style in how they play. I've been a penholder for a long time since it just suits me better. I've tried shakehand, C-Pen and have settled somewhat on using an old Butterfly Cypress J-Pen blade. It's very rare I come across another player who plays penhold in the UK but I love the challenges it brings and confusing shakehanders in the local league matches.

Welcome to TTD, great intro! You are right this is what I love about table tennis, how unique the game is. You can meet and play against such a wide, diverse range of styles and players it's great!
