How to attack with Long Pips?

Hello! One of my peers bought a racket with LP on one side, and only I can train him (blud is lazy to get a coach). See, he wants to defend and ATTACK on LP, and idk how to attack with them. Right now I told him to wait for a backspin attack to drive and flick during a backspin serve.

Do any of you guys know how to attack with LP?

Watch some Kim Kum Yong and Yang Xiaoxin, they attack very well with the LP

Use the LP to get easier balls to attack on FH... so LP + Offense.

... but if U are serious about directly attacking with LPs... then use LP to setup a higher return... step in... hold LP side up to ball height... use lower arm and a little wrist with OPEN bat angle and give the enemy sum moar wierdness.

Lol i played with my anti setup today. Was quite easy to attack - same 2 finger lever arm concept for the BH allows topspin to be generated. Esp against backspin it is easy peasy

It's pretty simple really.

- First up, go for practice.
- Make sure there's a good metal bin nearby.
- Start playing.
- When you've had enough, grab his racket.
- Throw it in the bin.
- Find a bottle of alcohol.
- Empty it in the bin.
- Set fire to the demon known as lp's.
- Problem solved.

See? Not that hard.🔥


Jokes aside, it needs open racket angle, and the rest is experience. He may like a forward stroke, maybe a sideswipe thing... And that's just on backspin, on flat strokes he can still keep it open and hit flat, making the ball behave like a fast float.

Many things work with long pips, tell him to try a few things and see what works for him.
