Not sure what you consider a conflict of interest, can you elaborate please? Please be clear and don't hide behind links that others may not read, say what the conflict of interest is.

Can't the IGNORE function be added to be a simple process rather than cutting and pasting a link? Like a button on the users profile? Is anyone working on this?

Not sure it's a priority, as it's pretty easy to do and its use should be pretty rare. This is the link you are looking for.
