You have to sit it again within two years?
Or you have really to 'wait' 2 years before you can do the exam again?

sorry for the confusion

when you fail the exam, you can retake it again after 2 years.
the 2 online sessions
and at least 3 national umpire experiences within those 2 years

I don't think it is the waiting period per such, but rather such exams comes every few years.
so the next one could just be in 2 years time.

and the 3 national tournaments, may also be a national federation requirement for its members to take part in exams - meaning, they must be an active umpire.
