I'm currently in full EJ mode. What other rubbers should I try?

Some of my favorite rubbers are Dignics 05, Tibhar EL-D, and Tenergy 80. Which other rubbers should I try?
Xiom Strato is high speed carbon blade?

From your list, you seem to like harder, catapulty Butterfly/ESN rubber.

However, if your blade is fast, you should try Rakza 7 soft, just to feel how it feels on the other end of the hardness specture. I like Rakza 7 soft on my backhand and it is at a very good price on Dandoy right now.

I think everyone should give H3 a try. It is also on special at Dandoy.

Sorry the weekly special at TT11 has not been that great lately.

When talking about harder ESN rubber, I think about G-1. But if you like Dignics 05, Tibhar EL-D and Tenergy 80, then G-1 will be too slow for you and not enough "catapult" effect. Uhm.....

Stiga Mantra Pro H, Tibhar Evolution MX-D, Andro Rasanter R47 and Andro Rasanter R53 are also on special at Dandoy (I swear, I am not paid by that company). Those might be interesting for you. You like EL-D so I wonder if you will like MX-D. I got a sheet of R47 because it comes in green. I was like why not! It is a bit hard for my backhand on a carbon blade so I am transferring that to a 5-ply or 7-ply wood blade. Maybe you want to brighten the color of your blade a little bit!

If you don't want to try H3, then Tibhar Hybrid K3 and Yasaka Rakza Z are hybrid rubbers that you can try.

I also like C-1, Xiom Vega X and Xiom Vega Europe but those are wayyyyy too soft for you. Between Rakza X soft and Rakza 7 soft, I like Rakza 7. I think other people would agree. So no need to touch Rakza X or Rakza X soft. Donic Baracuda, I hated that rubber. That one is too soft for you as well. I am out of ideas!

Thanks for your suggestion, but I should have noted that I don't care for hybrid or Chinese rubbers.
Sorry I made my suggestions before I saw your post.

By the way, Tibhar Hybrid MK is not really hybrid. You can watch the review on YouTube. It has no hybrid feel to it at all. I have not played with that rubber so I have no opinion.

I've tried some of the rubbers. Rakza Z Extra Hard, I did not like it. Haven't tried the normal one. I played with Donic Baracuda for years. Pretty good rubber for the price. I also play for about a year with R47, pretty good but I like my current rubbers better. Vega X and Vega Europe were okay but not my cup of tea. MX-D is on my list to try for sure. I really like EL-D a lot. MX-D and EL-D both have the red cake sponge. I don't know too much about Rakza X or Mantra. I will research them a bit.

Also... Yes, Strato is pretty fast blade (but I find it quite controllable) and I've been enjoying catapulty rubbers recently.

The last one I tried was Omega IV Europe. It was really bad. It has no grip or spin. My friend gave it to me after one session because he hated so much, then I gave it away after one session. Which of the newest Omega is good?
I think everything from Xiom that has "Euro" or "Europe" in the name is the softest rubber in the series. I think maybe it is not the grip or spin, but the sponge was too soft for you. When you don't like the sponge hardness, you can feel that it has no grip or no spin. It is a bit like me with hard ESN rubber; I feel that I cannot generate as much spin compared to soft ESN rubber on my backhand. On the other hand, on my forehand, I like it as hard as possible. The harder the better. On the forehand side, the harder it is easier for me to generate power and play the short game well too. Everyone is different.

Hugo Calderano plays with Xiom Omega VII Tour on both sides but it is $63.49 a sheet. It is the hardest and fastest in the Omega VII series. Personally if I were you, don't touch it yet. When you EJ, you need to stick to some budget of some sorts.

JJ my friend you are right, but i needed to tell the name of the rubber correctly to let the op identify it. I perfectly know it's not hybrid, i've tried it. Hybrid is just marketing by tibhar. Nevertheless it is a special rubber worth trying.

Eric don't be fooled by the name. It's not hybrid.

Got it. yes you like harder sponge rubber. Don't worry about Rakza X. You can skip that. The older Rakza 7 is better than Rakza X.

Mantra pro hard can be interesting.

Glad you already tried Rakza X extra hard, Vega X and Vega Europe so you can rule those out. I think you should just avoid all the soft rubbers (although Baracuda is pretty soft though and you liked it).

I usually prefer rubbers in the hardness range between T80 and D05. So, probably an ESN scale of 45 to 50. I'm the opposite of you. I prefer slightly softer rubber on my forehand than my backhand. For me, D05 is a superb backhand rubber, but I could play it on either side.

It is odd that you hate Omega 7 Europe but like Baracuda and R47... I played with all three and find them all to be good rubbers.

Edit: turns out it's Omega 4 Europe, that may be why.
