I'm currently in full EJ mode. What other rubbers should I try?

I know you said you don't want to try any Chinese rubbers, but the Palio AK47 Red is a kick-arse rubber that is both completely non-tacky, and totally european in all its playing characteristics.

It's also arguably the best value for money rubber currently out there -- tensor-like performance for literally pocket change.

The really nice thing about it is you can afford to try both a Palio AK47 AND most other euro rubbers at the same time, for far less than the cost of a single Tenergy 05.

I don't recommend off-brief rubbers to people very often, or very readily, but seriously, if you want to try a rubber that challenges your preconceptions about Chinese non-tacky rubbers (and that happily scratches an EJ itch without breaking the bank) then it's an absolute no-brainer to try out an AK-47 Red at least once.

It is odd that you hate Omega 7 Europe but like Baracuda and R47... I played with all three and find them all to be good rubbers.

Edit: turns out it's Omega 4 Europe, that may be why

Trying blades is even more fun, so better count your money to be prepared!
I'm pretty set with Xiom Strato at the moment. I've actually ordered a second copy so I can try more rubbers. 🤣

Added to the list, but where can I buy it?

Sound like ericd937 is a guy from his posting handle.
Too bad. Because if it had been a woman & with lots of money to throw away like that (at expensive Euro & Japanese rubbers) I want to marry them.
I'm not planning on trying them all at the same time. I'd try a few new ones, one by one. I'll soon have two copies of the same blade for EJing purposes. Currently waiting on delivery. I'll be testing Xiom Vega Korea next.

Currently testing MX-P. I played my second session with it yesterday. The speed and spin ratings of EL-D and MX-P are nearly identical on Tibhar's website, but I find EL-D to be much more explosive. MX-P feels like it is more direct and has more spin, especially on serves. I'm wondering if MX-D could be the best of both worlds? I think it has the MX-P top sheet with the red cake spine from EL-D. I'll probably try MX-D soon.
