Ishikawa & Ma Long: WTF is going on? Why is my YT flooded by video about them?

Ishikawa & Ma Long. Lately YT algorithm has decided to flood my YT with many vids about them. What the F**K is going on? What did I miss? Anyone know?

When Ishikawa interviewed the CNT girls after one of their matches, she asked Chen Meng to pass a pin to Ma Long, to which Chen Meng cheekily replied that 'I thank you on his behalf'. Later, Ishikawa met Ma Long at the interview booth again, and gave him another gift that she prepared.

It's really nothing much but a bunch of pleasantries and teasing, but I guess the chinese media and table tennis fandom are constantly looking for something juicy to talk about. Then again, Ishikawa's transparent expressions don't help much either.

The Japanese girls travel with probably hundreds of gifts (mostly pins).

A lot of close friends, will all get it.
Many teams have pins to give away, but I am highlighting that of the Japanese team that has the most different kind to give away. Or at least that is from what I have saw.

and yeah, all this is just fan boy who wants to make some story to get more views. Nothing more than that.
At least Ishikawa has a proper job, unlike some japanese table tennis princess who is too good to do "these kind of work".

she was part of the silly "must retire" list on ttd.
In my books Ishikawa had a very successful playing career. Is loved by many players, officials and fans etc.
And i'm sure there many folds more of ttd fans that adore her than oppose to those that want to retire her.

If it wasn't for Ai, Ishikawa's net worth would have been way more.
Ishikawa is having a solid post career role and remaining in the sport of TT.
For any other young tt female stars, I would say Ishikawa is a good role model to follow.

And she has been doing the thank you tour throughout all of Japan since her retirement teaching kids to play. She is at 27/47 prefectures now. I have seen a video where Katou Miyu helped her out. I'm sure other players are participating too.
