Now it's World Cup then WTTC then Olympics. To be honest, it makes more sense in terms of hierarchy as it raises the prestige of World Cup, which is commonly referred to as 水盃/Water Cup [Water = Weak] in mainland China because of the timing and competition format.

WTT重庆冠军赛圆满结束后，中国乒乓球队公布了2025年澳门国际乒联男子及女子世界杯的参赛名单。

男单：林诗栋、王楚钦、梁靖崑、林高远、黄友政
女单：孙颖莎、王曼昱、王艺迪、陈幸同、蒯曼

中国乒乓球队领队何潇介绍：“世界杯是国际乒联传统赛事，4月份的澳门世界杯也是今年上半年重要国际大赛之一，协会和队伍对于此站赛事非常重视。世界杯是邀请参赛制，其中上届世锦赛冠军、世青赛冠军均可以获得参赛资格，其他球员则是通过洲级资格以及国际乒联世界排名等渠道获得参赛资格。”

本次澳门世界杯比赛，中国男队樊振东、林诗栋、王楚钦、梁靖崑、林高远、黄友政6人获得邀请资格；女队孙颖莎、王曼昱、王艺迪、陈幸同、蒯曼5人获得邀请资格。

何潇表示：“男队方面，樊振东是2023年世锦赛冠军入围，林诗栋、王楚钦、梁靖崑通过洲级资格入围，黄友政是2024年世青赛U19冠军入围，林高远凭借世界排名入围。女队的受邀名单中，孙颖莎是2023年世锦赛冠军入围，王曼昱、王艺迪、陈幸同、蒯曼通过洲级资格入围。获得邀请资格后，队伍征求了每一位资格球员的意见。其中，樊振东基于近期个人的实际情况考量，本人决定不参加世界杯比赛。队伍充分尊重他的选择，协会已向国际乒联确认了其他队员参赛。”

针对参赛名单，主教练王皓表示：“近期队伍整体状态还是稳定的。王楚钦自去年总决赛后连续拿到亚洲杯和重庆冠军赛的冠军，整个人的精神、心理状态各个方面都有一个提升。梁靖崑近期表现也不错，在亚洲杯打进了决赛，在重庆冠军赛出现伤病的情况下，能坚守住自己的这条线，进入了前四，我觉得他这种意志品质比以前要有很大进步，值得肯定。林诗栋整体还是属于年轻队员在冲击和被冲击过程中，连续作战中自己体能和技术各方面储备受到一些冲击，出现一些起伏波动，我觉得是可以理解的。其他年轻小将也在近期赛事中得到了历练，成绩上有输有赢。我们要不断去总结比赛的经验，让他们快速成长起来。”

关于樊振东未确认参赛，王皓说：“我和领队一直和樊振东保持着联系，关心他的情况和状态。他本人出于个人近期情况的考虑决定不参赛，队伍尊重他的决定。”

作为多哈世锦赛前最重要的一次大赛，王皓希望参赛队员在世界杯比赛中，能够全力去争胜。“几个运动员都没有拿过世界杯单打冠军，对这个冠军是非常渴望的。我希望他们都能以最好的精神面貌和状态去展示自己的竞技水平，期待他们中有人能取得突破。”

女队方面，5名参赛球员近期均展现出最佳状态和卓越表现，主教练马琳说：“进入2025年，女队整体表现很不错。在新加坡大满贯、亚洲杯以及重庆冠军赛中，女队均成功包揽了前四名的佳绩。
