Romania only sent two girls even though their tie with USA went down to the wire. Szocs for mixed doubles and Samara for singles, with both coming together again for WD (though it didn't work out). Curious to see Japan's line-up later, although they don't really have any XD choices other than Hayata/Tomozaku.

Chinese Taipei men looked really confused rather than enthused after winning the 8th set for their team. Guess the system still isn't very intuitive.

Without Hayata, Ito doesn't fit in at all:
Harimoto/Hayata, Togami/Harimoto, Harimoto/Harimoto for XD
Kihara/Harimoto, Hirano/Harimoto, Hayata/Hirano for WD
Yoshiyama/Sone?, Harimoto/Togami for MD

Ito's last WD match (w/ Hayata) and XD match (w/ Uda) were back at WTTC 2023 and WTT CT Zagreb 2022. Who would've thought Ito can't play anything other than singles now? 我估伊藤自己都冇諗過有一日會淪落到敢嘅田地。

So they've gone with Togami/Harimoto, Kihara/Harimoto for the first round.

but WS is after XD

so its a disadvantage for WS player
MS can rest a bit more so MS can play XD too
