一起淋过的日子 雨果虽然台内技术有一些进步，但是还是比不过🎲和已经无缘决赛的莫雷加德，今晚决赛雨果一定会被🎲牵着鼻子走，发挥不出自己的优势，他的个性也特别容易怒，越打越心急，然后就会有一些连续丢分的可能，🎲这次比赛无论是心态，技术，包括相持，都比以前有了很大的长进，看看他一路打过来，很多场都是4比0完胜，仅仅丢了3局——西蒙拿走2局，莫雷加德拿走1局，所以我估计雨果应该顶多只能拿走🎲1局，结局就是🎲替男乒挽回颜面弥补世界杯丢金的遗憾，成了世乒赛守全区的大功臣，成为拥有世界排名里现役男子乒乓球未来2年内成绩最好的那个人，但是其他家粉就很惨了，会被tzm给霸凌2年，毕竟想要翻身得等到2年后的世锦赛了，因为就算你拿了明年的世界杯的男单冠军也没法跟世乒赛的男单冠军的含金量比，毕竟世乒赛男单冠军仅次于奥运会

Did WCQ serve many times on the table? That is what I observed when watching the live stream and I have no interest in re-watching the match. WCQ did play much better than the world cup and his strategies against Hugo worked well.

It was an absolute pleasure to watch the finals. Dominating performance by WCQ against Hugo. The better player won. We cannot give excuses like fatigue from previous matches etc. If that were the case, then Ma Long and FZD wouldn't have won multiple world championships. WCQ took the game to the next level against Hugo with his agility, footwork, anticipation, tactics etc. Need to give credit where it is due.

Expect price increase for Q968. I was looking to buy a provincial Q968 on Prott for a while now and it has been out of stock for sometime !!

Hugo needed that first game. 10-7 to 10-12, almost impossible to stop WCQ after that.

Yeah but I dont think it would have made a difference. Even in the best Hugo game, it didn't feel as if he was outplaying Wang. It felt that some weird things were happening leading to Wang errors.

Well, Hugo was not on the yesterday's form. Wang is crazy good, but the most important thing is that Hugo could not play a near perfect short game like when he played against LJK, which is of course the result of being lack of energy. To play good in small details, it requires you to have all the focus, which needs you to be in a 100% stamina state. That's why no one can play two life time matchs in just 2 days. If Hugo meet Wang first then things will be very different.

Hugo played good table tennis - he was outplayed but if he can return serve better and rally better at thd table then he should be fine. The problem is that no one plays with the power he does except people on thr Chinese team and those are the people he needs to beat. Wondering whether he will give the Superleague a try and whether he would benefit with the tradeoffs.

I’m wondering why he didn’t use Monteiro as he is the Mens head coach for Brazil. Did Hugo and Monteiro had a falling out after the World Cup.

Good looking out. He tried those sudden long pushes to the forehand that WCQ brought back with spinny venom, lost about 3-4 crucial points that could have brought him back into the match. Plus, the fact that WCQ excelled in the short game. I think one of the highlights of WCQ in this match was investing more spin in his opening attack and only going all-out flat drives when he's dominating the table and attacking the angles with his forehand.

I think it ultimately doesn't matter how you play the game, you win if you:
1) have better serves.
2) have better receives.
3) win long rallies.

I think that no matter what Hugo did, if WCQ dominated in these 3 abovementioned areas, the match was practically impossible to win.

Agreed on this. Emotional impact is well underrated in professional TT. But overall, Hugo has been studied hard by the CNT especially from the 7 games against LJK yesterday.

dude seriously you can't just study hard someone in a few hours. they know who hugo is for the past 10 years

A match is full of dynamics, just because you watch a video of someone, does not mean he will play exactly as expected in the upcoming games

Yeah. CNT frontrunner swinging is a thing. That said, when WCQ lost a game in the event other than this match it was usually the first one. And Hugo didnt show me anything that made me feel he could have obtained a stable advantage though I think he will have chances if he maintains his form.
