i'm more impressed that Moe and Mende managed to match Ito and Hirano in the rallies blow for blow. Didn't feel like they were technically disadvantaged at all.

So you're going to fault Hayata for blowing past her competition over a number of high pressure Paris Trial tournaments (at least the early ones). Hirano and Ito are under pressure because they failed to secure the 2nd spot. Plus there's always a lot of pressure to win the All Japan. Hayata is a 2 time All Japan champion (2020,2023) and was a triple crown winner last year.

Kizuka plays really well for an all-round type player, even at the end I felt like Togami hasn't had him in the palm. If they went to the 7th I won't be able to tell who'll win.

I didn't get to watch this one, but I have seen a couple of TLeague videos on Ushijima and remember thinking she has very good mechanics on her forehand. But I didn't expect it to go 7 with Kihara.

Minami Ando has always been good against defenders, but she takes out Haruna Ojio in 4 straight games 7,5,7,6. Plus, Ando knows Ojio's game very well as they are T-League teammates.
