It's seems that Hao Shuai put away his mobile phone but he doesnt want to! Liu Gouliang goes around the table, gives him a slap and take is phone away! and Hao Shuai did nothing he just sit there ....
That Hao shuai and Liu has no good relationship is obvious and known but maybe this relationship is so bad that Liu did not let him play in mens singles

It was an old stuff lol... like one or two years ago. It just that LGL tried to call Hao Shuai for something (probably have the drink together or something), but Hao Shuai just keep ignoring him and talk in the phone.

Although this seems abit odd, but this is just kind of normal situation in Asia country. Especially when you have a dinner with people who is higher rank than you.

Even when you have dinner with someone not higher ranked than you, you shouldnt use your phone at the table, its just not polite.

And its known for the asian people to slap people when they are doing something wrong. I said it before, there is a chinese coach in our country and he hits his players aswell and he got their respect.

There are other ways to get respect from people but to be honest this is the best way, when it comes down to teacher, student situations.

I always wondered why hao shuai never plays in big tournaments, I hope that is not the reason because that would be kinda low from the head coach.
