In stead of debating who is the goat, we should first reach a common consensus (or at least majority consensus) on which attributes constitute a goat status.
For me, some major attributes will be:
achievement:
...# of major titles (big moment performance)
...# of major tournament titles (winning regularly)
...# number of weeks of # 1 rank (shows consistency and overall dominance)
impact to the game:
...creativity
...innovation
peer recognition
...how the majority pros at the same era view you

Maybe there are more....

It'll never get old. At least it's fun and we tt players (still) have things to discuss and consider, unlike basketball, where, if you don't think that Michael Jordan is the undisputed GOAT, than your iq is probably on Forrest Gump's level (possibly lower)...or you are legally blind.

That might be true. But then again Michael Jordan won his first NBA title when he was already 29 (he struggled quite a bit against the Pistons during the late 80s while they were employing the so-called "Jordan rules") and he is still widely considered to be the GOAT of basketball.
NBA GOAT
Forget Jordan he was probably the super athlete of his generation. But the GOAT or the WALDNER/MA LONG equivalent for the NBA has got to be LARRY BIRD who while not the fastest and jumpiest of players had supreme mastery of tactics, and passing, shooting and making his team better than the others. Most of the Pros of
the time seem to agree
